i really hope mine isnt just 6 inchs and do you think i should swich my lights and start giving it bloom nuts now
I usually switch to flowering lights (2-4000K) two to four days after pistils start showing up. You can switch to transitional/flowering nutes as soon as you want after pre-flowering. Keep your lights on the same timing regimen throughout the entire grow (18/6 or 20/4 are recommended).

Cool man, sounds like you're on the right track. It's hard to say how much bigger your plant will get... Do you have any pictures? The two most significant factors effecting plant size are phenotype and container size. A small phenotype kept in something like a party cup for the entirety of a grow will stay very small (something like yours, perhaps), while the large phenotype of the same plant if transplanted to say a 6" or 8" pot could grow to be a meter tall. Autoflowers are in a sense much more of a gamble than photoperiod plants for a couple reasons: 1) You have no control over the amount of veg time you're going to get, and 2) You have to go from seed every time, so plant genetics can be quite inconsistent even within the same batch of seeds. Keep your chin up, and keep learning!

you are awsome man very good at what you do and the palnts in a large pot its been in from the start and hear are some pics from today
You have a healthy-looking plant there, no matter the size! It looks to me like it will start stretching quite a bit within the next week or so -- the good news is it'll stay nice and bushy. The bad news is it won't get huge, but you'll definitely have more than just a single-cola plant (which I have seen before). I'd expect something around 5-10g as a dry yield from a plant this size.

A few words regarding container size: I don't have much experience growing in soil, but my general impression is it's best to start seedlings in something like a red party cup with some holes cut in the bottom. You can transplant into a larger pot any time, but the smaller cup makes dealing with nutes and drain times much easier early on in the grow. As soon as you think the root system is filling up the cup, take the whole clump and put it into whatever final container you're going to use. The plant may or may not take a day or two to recover, but from what I've read the benefits of a smaller cup early on seem worth it.

Someone please correct me if any of the above information is in error!

Well, the yield might not be great but as long as nothing goes terribly wrong between now and harvest you'll still have some high quality bud! :)

The "Edit Signature" link can be found on the left-hand column when you click "My Rollitup" in the top right corner.

For sure :). Feel free to drop by my thread or send me a message any time. Currently I'm growing one Easy Ryder in my PC case and I'll be starting up between one and five plants (haven't decided yet) in a closet grow tent as soon as I'm back from visiting my girlfriend and her fam.

Here's my PC grow at day 39 from seed, about a week ago:

Tons more pictures and info in both of my grow threads :).

Sappnin amigo..Autos should flower end of week 3???? Its hard t say with out knowing the strain?? but there r alot of unstable fuckers out there at the min making false promises!! i.e seed to harvest in nine weeks!! when in fact alot of people r having t force them to flower by switching light cycle which totally defeats the object.. if theyv just started t flower u should get another six weeks at least out of them??? just watch the plant itl tell you when its had enuff!¬!!!

sounds just right to me i always cut a 3 inch piece of a party cup Sprout in that let the roots wall up in that then i put into party cups let them root wall in that then buckets or bag w/e u wanna put them in

I do this because i hate long stems sticking up so as it grows i can keep covering it up

I would say nay and nay again to the transplanting. Most if not all top growers and even auto breeders will say that they start where the plant finishes. Why would you stress a plant with such a short life span. I have looked at many grows and will say that I pay more attention to people with big healthy plants.

oppionins are like assholes everyones got one i agree with you also ppl say its streeses the plant i agree with you on autos forgot i was in a auto thread =D but ppl say its better to keep a good root wall i never see any stress from transplanting as long as you transplant after watering and theres a good root wall to keep dirt intact

Some people even start in party cups then just Cut the bottom half off and dropem in

Yes some people do all of these things but to recommend needless handling of the plant as plan sounds kind of silly. And yes autos are more sensitive to root stresses than photo plants. I have seen people use the tiered pot method with good results. In the end really its common sense. If you don't need to transplant, don't as it offers no known benefits. If you do need to transplant because of your set up then treat it like brain surgery with sterile hands, tools, and space. above all be gentle. That's just this assholes opinion.

Lol i never said you where an asshole i said everyones got one and i had 1x Auto 69 1x Sweet dwarf 1x Low girl i grew them outdoors transplanted like i said and i never caused any stress some people will even cut a ring around the root wall before transplanting so i don't see why u gotta treat it like brain surgery its simple
