Im growing a few jock horrors 4 weeks old and a decent size. havent flowered yet though... i heard about switching to 12/12 to induce flowering? do you switch it right back to 18/6 after it shows preflowers or keep it at 12/12:-? Or am i better off waiting for them to do it themselves???

Autos need 18+ hrs of light! Never switch to 12/12

Autos flower by age not light schedule. It will flower when its ready.

that's weird, usually AFs show their sex sooner. do you have any pics?
mine tend to show signs of sex after 2 weeks

Yes these were taking a few days ago, they are now allmost 29 days old, although 2 of them were stuck in their shell for a few days stunting their growth a bit. IS it possible to flower an autoflowering plant by switching to 12/12?? Or is it not in the genitics.....

I had to switch to 12/12 with my Nirvana Short Rider after i gave up on the auto part of it.. just cut one down yesterday that was 3 months old or so and about 3ft tall with no signs of sex in open sunlight..

i have grown autos under all light cycles....not much difference if any. i know it seems weird that you can go 12/12 or almost double the light to 20/4 and yield will be about the same. imo your wasting energy if your growing autos under extended daylight hours. i just got a freeby jock horror and i put it straight into to flower room as a seed and shes doing great.

You sure you see no little hairs??

Positive. They are alll feminzed by the way, theirs five of them along with others, i have plants way taller then the autos growing aswell so the autos are a good few inches away from the light then they should be.

Thanks for the info so your saying can switch my autoflowering jock horror's to 12/12 with good results?? Judging by the size of them now would it be worth it? And what kind of j/hs did you get the normal or the autoflowering.....

I read on some seed site that the Nirvana Auto Bubbilicous, jock horror and Northern lights start flowering at 4-5 weeks. Which is consistent with what I have been finding reading other growers reports. Mine all start flowering at about a month.

yea they dont respond to the light cycle change at all. and yea no difference, i got one ounce off each plant regardless the light cycle and i always grew the same kind, white dwarf.

Yeah my bad just read on Nirvana's site about autos starting at 3-5 weeks. I wish mine would have started at 2 weeks maybe it would be done by now.
