Autoflowering plants and light leaks.

Hi, i was just wondering, do light leaks affect autoflowering plants? say i had it on 18/6 and during the dark hours light was getting in but not from the growlight would that hermie the plant or anything? Would i be better of just doing 24/0?

When you say " light was getting in but not from the growlight" are you instead meaning to say it got in via a Small nail hole, or an open door?

Auto's behave according to their age, rather than responding to the light it's provided.

Please explain the "leak"

By leak i mean natural light coming in from the sun and entering the grow box because my grow box doesnt shut completly and as a result alot of light comes in.
