Can somebody tell me how autoflowering seeds work as far as lighting goes. Does this mean I can run lights 24/7 and it still flowers. Also what is the end product like can it come out as good as standard flowering plants.

Yes you can put it on 24/7 lighting and it'll still grow and flower. Most people put autos on 18/6 though so it has some dark time. And it doesn't produce as much bud as a regular non-autoflowering plant does but it does get the job done. Haa

Depending on your growing situation and it's limits, it's really about what will suit you the best. Autoflowering strains have been typically shown to produce the highest yield when grown under a 24 hour light cycle, as opposed to 21/3 or 18/6. Once the seed is cracked, a timer goes off inside the plant forcing it to flower. Although you can harvest within 40 days from seed to bud, the auto-flowering strains will be comically small, and often nothing to brag about smoke wise. If you have a small set-up, on a tight budget, and/or security concerns, auto flowering would be the way to go. They're also especially good for throwing outside mid-summer to pull in a crop before everyone else and cash out.

thanks for the reply dr ziaus. as far as autoflowering clones what I mean is I would flower the clones right when I got them.

Okay>You would want to veg them at least for a couple weeks. You want some size on them before you put them to flower so they can get some type of weight.

Ok but just to be sure I have access to clones from a dispensary that are about 6-8 inches tall and alot of white fury roots. What do you think more bud with clones or autoflowering or maybe its just one of those things that I wont know unless I try both.

Try both, I've never grown out any auto strains before, but on my upcoming grow i am going to experiment with some beans from several different banks. Be sure to follow my grow report in the upcoming weeks.
