the water timer doesnt work. theres no water coming out. It must be that theres not enough pressure from the drum.

Definitely going to put this idea into action. Camouflage would be a problem, but worth the effort.
How far you think the hose could run?? and what would speed would you have to set the water timer on??

I had this almost this same idea except for i have a stream near my grow site and was thinking of running a grav fed tube into the resevoir. I've already ph'd the stream and tried it on an indoor plant it did great.
