This may well be old news, but I was at our neighborhood water co-op meeting tonight and a neighbor said he's installed a Ph adjustment component into his water system. His well is 5.0, so he purchased a unit that apparently has some sort of hopper for calcium/magnesium, and he controls the Ph at all his water sources!
Again, probably old news to seasoned growers with water problems I don't have, but the unit was about $300 and cal/mag supplies for a year $45. Looking at the prices of Ph Up and Ph Down in grow shops, thought I'd double down on information, just in case. cheers, mg
