spoilt for choice here,,,, there is no clear winner via popularity,,, every review, forum, friend, magazine seems to all go ther own way,,,

several people have told me it is stupid and unstable to grow autos in hydro as they are very delicate and require soil for sum reasone !!!!! breeeeeeeze,, im growing 'easy bud' and 'quick one' which both have 99% survival rate and are very sustainable plants that like to grow fast, short, stocky and from what ive seen can be grown in all manor of ways including an article i read about someone who gre the seeds in a bucket of soil in the corner of the room..............

could SOMEONE who really knows help me out?????? im quite up for doing both however =)

i can fill u in on how my grow is set up if it helps... just ask, any help on this subject at all would b a great relief

better u say? Ofcours better is hydro, but it's a lot of work with hydro. But look
I had lowsnow in the soil, and i got near 23g from this, and next time I had it in the water, and I got more than35g.So rate what's better: soil or hydro?

IM WITH U DUDe,, i want to stay hydroponics all the way but im baffled as people are telling me that auto flowering plants are delicate and are better in soil,,,, im quite confident in staying hydroponic and i dont see how the plants being autoflowering would make a difference.

I did one road runner in soil and one in hydro. The hydro is a five gallon bucket dwc and the soil was five gallon organic super soil in a smart pot. You guys would not beleive the difreence in the hydro plant. It is the strongest argument for hydro I have ever seen! Lol. It is huge, compared to the soil and not only that it has buds that are growing out on the side branches as opposed to mostly main stem buds. However for the soil run there is a possible issue of some minor ozone contamination. The generator was set to pump out but some blowback I found was getting in. I have had shitty yeilds so far in soil and that is because I must conclude the ozone blowback. But the hydro is thriving and doing well none the less. I dont know if it will take up all the five gallon but I hope so. I am feeding haphazardly too. I am using sometimes straight tapwater with the chlorine and sometimes ro water. I am dropping in pure blend pro and also some supertrhive. I went easy on the veg nutes, maybe a quarter str or maybe even less, and to trun to flower after a few weeks I started to add flower nutes in with the addbacks, lucas thread advice. She is happy.

i would think hydro would be better for auto flower since its has a faster growth rate and the plant is on a time lie unlike most plants you can veg as long as you want.

how long can i veg for then as the plants i have are typical of 8 weeks to harvest from sprout... i was more thinking an auto flowering plant would just go either way after a while?? if i can veg for as long as pos i will b keeping me back a nice mother to snip n clip.
