Awake for the first time...

Hey everyone,

I started growing medically for the first time in my life and i love it. It's been a bucket list item for quite some time. I grew up in a rich family completely 100% anti-pot. Though I feel I "see the light" when it comes to the plant, convincing family members has been a bumpy road to say the least. I must say it is somewhat amusing seeing very smart people experience "brain wash". To sum it up the experience has given me many entertaining stories.

Anyways, during my recent excursion to Holland I was able to pick up some white widow seeds from Dutch Passion which are currently germinating (day 2). I will do my best to keep the updates going.

That's my favorite WW....Dutch Passion. You are going to need to knock down some odor after 20-30 days. My WW were prone to mold attack so I would spray the leaves with a hydrogen peroxide mix. 2 tablespoons of 3% H202 for every quart, spray once a week.

I think the great smell was one of the reasons I chose WW. Ventilation in my flower room is the same as my veg room. 300 CFM in line fan operating at about 50% pulling air through a carbon filter (not sure how to classify the spec with those). The filter is about 12'' in diameter and 18'' long with a 6'' hookup. It has been plenty sufficient.

I keep my rooms nice and breezy and humidity as low as the plants are comfortable with. Thanks for the tip redzi!

Dutch Passion WW update...Day 3 germination direct dirt method. Can't see anything as of yet. I will include pics when the show gets interesting .
