Well folks, here is the line up.
) Norther Light Blue (Freebie From Delicious)
) White Rhino (GHS)
) Fast Nevilles Haze (X-Line)
) 60 Day Wonder (DNA)
) The Church (GHS)

I just got my Secret Jardin DR 90. I have a 600W Hps with in a 6" cool tube. It is plumbed as so : Passive intake on Jardin---> 6"DuctBooster--->Cool Tube--->Metal Ducting---> 6" DuctBooster---> Outside Tent Oh yeah, this is all vertical too. With the two fans inline with each other, I get plenty of airflow through the tube/tent. It has been keeping mid 70'sF. This is all housed in a basement with ambient temps around 60F.
The babies have been sprouted for about a two weeks now. They have only been in their big containers for a couple of days now. They were started in FoxFarm Ocean Forest and fed only Mountain Valley spring water. It was the best (fastest) germination I have ever had. I have 4 photo plants and 1 auto. The auto is the 1.5gal bucket while the photo plants are in 6gal tubs. 2 of which are straight FFOF and the other 2 are a 50/50 blend of FFOF and Miracle Grow Organics.
They were germed/sprouted in a medium Home Depot moving box with a big ole CFL hanging down from the top. Complete with duct tape door. Light on 24/0. They are on an 18/6 sched now. They are getting off-gassed tap water which has consistently Ph'd at 6.5-6.8
The autoflower should be done mid November and the others I will be harvesting around mid december. I'll switch the light on them once they are about 1' tall. View attachment 1806076View attachment 1806077View attachment 1806079

Yeah, I got this Jardin for $135 with shipping. It's pretty damn light tight and insulated. Easy to move air through it cause it's so tight.

Not a whole lot to update on. Everything is rolling right along, I am still lovin' the Jardin. This has been the most "hands-off" grow that I have had yet. I was constantly battling hot temps in my previous set ups, this little event keeps between 70 and 80. The Fast Nevilles haze is the fastest grower yet. It stands at 7" while the others are at a mere 4". I wonder if I should top that plant, might help keep the canopy as a whole a little more even. What do you guys think? Anyone have a preferred method of topping?

I just cut a bitch, lol. You might want to give the others a few more days... they might just be slow starters and could catch up. Thats great with the temps. I was battling 90+ last grow... not cool. pun not intended. And BTF I've been great, and horrible, pretty much life I guess. The bud from my garden keeps getting better and better, so that's a plus.

Mr. West, I had thought about LST. I wonder how that would work with my vert setup? I thought that may be best for a horizontal grow. I will read up.

View attachment 1824322View attachment 1824323 Just a photo update on the Girls. The Fast Neville's haze (back, right corner) is now at 9" tall. The 60 Day Wonder is already showing sex! Everything is truckin right along, no issues of yet. I have been reading up on the Vert Scrog, I think I am going to tackle that method on my next grow. If I have any height/width issues, I will just tie 'em up where necessary.

Absolutely! I will try to keep a happy balance of light that will Keep the colas reaching, but blaze those sidebranches too. Just see how it goes and adapt if necessary.

Well, here's the thing. I have rotated plants througout a grow as well as leave them in place. I can't say that I noticed much of a difference in yield. Rotated Plants= nice evenly distributed buds Stationary plants= massive growth on a limited amount of the plant's surface area. With the already cramped, (fixin' to be really cramped) conditions of the closet, I think that I am gonna let these babes sit stationary. I think with careful training and pruning, I can get decent light to most everywhere. I may have to do a lot of bending and rigging, but I think I'll be fine. What say you?

Sounds like u could have fun training half the plant to hug itself. I have visions of bonsai type wires bending branches into the light lol.

That's similar to what I have done in the past. I use an arts and crafts heavy gauge wire that is wrapped with a brown almost waxy paper. It works great. That, and I like to hang an empty beer can from a branch or stalk that I need to bow downwards, slowly, to keep from breaking. Every day I add another little bit of water to the beer can and it ever so slowly allows that branch to bend. (adjustable weight)
