Keep us updated on the weights if you don't mind, How do you like LED ? I just bought 4 panels cost little over 6k and am hoping to get some super frosty resin drippin budddds!!
I know most people would say wtf are you spending all that money for but it is an investment and I need lights that produce almost no heat. Even cfls will raise the temps too much for my house.
I liked the LED light it worked out very well. I borrowed it from my father in law to see what it could do, he was not having good results with his grows. His issues were not from lighting that is for sure. As far as heat there is still heat produced by the LEDs but all the heat is on the back side of the LEDs and the heat is pulled out of the fixture by the heat sink and cooling fans built into the light. The LEDs themselves do not get very hot at all unlike a CFL or floro tube that will burn a plant if they touch. And there is way way way less heat then HID lighting. The nice thing about spending all that money on LEDs is that in a few years they will pay for themselfs in the power they will save and cost in replacing bulbs. I will be sure to post up a weight as soon as the plants have dried. 2 plants are for my father in law and he does not want me to trim and cure it for him (I think that he is worried I am going to short him) so since he wants just the dried plants untrimmed I think I will break those down as much as posible to I can get a weight on them. I want to know what my total harvest weight is and his request is making that difficult. It is looking like about a zip or a liitle more per plant again, some plants are looking like more for sure.
The Nuclear Fruit turned out looking super bomb very please with it so far, nice size buds,dense and smells fruity. The Kush is crazy nice by far the rock hardest buds I have ever seen let alone grew on my own and that plant is heavy heavy. The OG Kush plants turned out ok but someone with more experience could have don way better than I did, but still I am pleased and they look really good. Pandora's Box of which I had 2 going were under the LED and they grew some hug donky dick sized buds and they have a bunch of purple in the buds, not super dense but full buds.
. The pandora plants are so fat and heavy they are dropping way way down I did not stake and tie them like I did the rest of the plants and now I wish I would have but they where healthy and grew thick stems so they held the huge buds up for a while. I pulled my new light out of the box and checked it out, wow bright 8X54 watt HO T5 and nice hammered reflectors.
. Here are some final pics of the grow before harvest. It is looking like it will be a good harvest as long as I dont have a bunch of seeds from the PB going all herm on me. I am a bit disapointed in the results of the OG Kush, I was hoping for larger buds but it is a more difficult plant to grow and from what I have read OG Kush does not yeild a lot.
