Backyard Security, Chain link Dog Kennel?

Alright, so let me give you guys a rundown of the events leading up to this. Last year I had three beautiful plants that had just about everything clipped off during the night in early September. This year I have 3 new plants and a few small ones I've only planted in the last few weeks, but I'm trying to give myself a little peace of mind this year with circumstances making it difficult.
This year I've put better locks on the gates (not that it helps, kids are just going to jump over a locked gate anyway), am in the process of finding the right No Trespassing signs and am probably going to lay down some boards with screws drilled into them in front of where they would jump the fence. The issue I'm facing now though is that the large hedge that splits my neighbor's yard and my yard gets trimmed every year, and whoever they have trim it usually just come into my yard without asking and I'm sure it will happen again this year.
Keep in mind though, I'm trying to avoid having to talk to any of my neighbors about my plants, period. So my question is, has anyone used something like this in their grow before? http://www.homedepot.com/p/K-9-Kwik-Dog-Kennel-6-ft-x-10-ft-x-6-ft-Kennel-308594A/100322469#.UgRDsZKTjX0 My plants aren't in full flower yet but they're about 3'x3' and I have 3 of them. So a 10' long kennel might get too small by the end of the month, I don't know. Any opinions are welcome. I'm aware that there was a case in Michigan where a guy was growing in one and got pinched for them being in public view, but because of last year these will have no possibility of being seen from the street. That's the main reason I'm not going to just buy a greenhouse; any of them that would work for me are over 6 feet and would be seen over my fence line. I live near a high school where kids walk home a lot so the street visibility is huge for me. Getting a guard dog is also not an option right now, unfortunately. I'd go rescue a Rottweiler in a heartbeat otherwise.
Thanks for any help! :bigjoint:

Whoever ripped you off last year is looking forward to it again this year. I hate to say that, but if you really cannot relocate you need to go for a secure kennel. Enclose entire cage in multiple layers of additional chicken wire. Including roof/ceiling, place jingle bells everywhere on your cage. Good luck.

Kinda what I've figured, the investment is more than worth it to save my crop. Enclosing it completely and locking it is the only way to go. Relocation isn't really an option, they've been moved to a different spot in the yard but yeah. Thanks!
