I'm in the mid west and been having trouble with ffof my last 3 trys I've growed in for a few years with no problems then now the last 3 times suck big time! This Is It! Any one else on the eastern side of the country having low ph slow growth brown spots and all the above? It would make me feel better any way just knowing I not the only one!! I think it a east coast thing!!:hump:

I noticed the last bag of OF I bought had a wierd smell to it. Well it was different then past bags to me. Didn't seem to hurt the ladies.

I also live east of the Mississippi....after reading tons of good reviews of FFOF, I tried a bag....never bought another. Had much better results with MG organic.... Now use Humboldt nuteless...best grows ever!!!
With all the success some report, there must be different locations where theirs product are manufactured. Garbage in, garbage out....Being a well known and widely used product, there also MUST be those who have issues such as I had.....as well as those who have superior results.

I'm in NYC and just switched over to FF and so far I'm really loving it.. Had alot of problems in promix in flowering with low medium ph so decided to switch to FFOF, added perlite and lime and my cuttings are exploding. Check your water cause it might have something to do with all this rain we're getting. Just my opinion but good luck bro

too much food, prolly either burned or lockout. try flushing and i'm willin to bet within a week they will resume vigorous growth. I also made that mistake with a bb cutting, fed within a few days of transplanting and she burnt right up. In my opinion people should wait at least 2 weeks before feeding when using FFOF, but i'm new to this soil so what the hell do i know lol

Yes I've feed them twice they were in L.W. 1 week then veg for 3 weeks all most 2 weeks in flower now! The color not right drooping long skinny leaves. My next grow or 2 is going to be all rock wool and AN nuts they last a lot longer and already paid for but the juice. This is how I grew before it was legal in mi and there were no grow shops then all the shops pop opening push there ffof. With rock wool I know when to feed and how much and water every other time! The rock wool is much clean and it cheaper in the long run. I already waster 6 weeks so what another 5 or 6 and hope I get something to make it worth wild.:wall::wall::wall: I've gave them 3/4 cup of soil doctor lawn lime total I was giving then 3 tbs at one time but not today the run off is 5.8-6.1 still!! next watering their getting 1/2 cup lime each mix in the soil it hasn't hurt!!!:wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall:

I would try flushing, also if you have a ppm meter check your runoff and it's prolly really high, also I have used sensi bloom for years and come to realize that it drops your ph bigtime so just be careful with the stuff. Alright shit but alot of it's just hype.. To many additives to buy just to complete the nutrient line

I gave up on ffof, I still got a half bag sitting around full of fungus gnat eggs. The last three bags I bought where hotter then hell. I cant knock ffof too hard I used to grow everything in it, but as of the past year....you'd never catch me buying it. Honestly I'm glad the last couple bags I bought where crap, cause if they hadn't been, I'd have never switched to coco!

I feel better knowing I'm not the only one. I gave them just water today in 3 days I'll feed but I put 1 whole cup of lime in each pot mix it in the wet dirt. So when I feed the next time it should go up with a whole cup of lime I would think but it hasn't gone up with 3 tbs at a time.

If you're going to be growing in it without transplanting for more than a couple weeks (as in final transplant) you probably want to add more dolomite limestone or crushed egg-shell. How fast it goes to work depends on the particle size. Micronized dolomite should go to work within a few days or so, definitely within a week.

I am on the East Coast and never had problems with OF. You certainly can't blame Fox Farm's for gnats; those could have come in from anywhere especially if where you buy from stores soils outdoors.

was an indoor hydro store and the gnats came out the bag, i have a clean house and cant remember the last time i saw a bug flying around, i wouldnt call it a coincidence that they magically appear in the grow tent that i put the soil into.
