Hey everyone, I grew years ago outdoor and indoor but this time around I’m focusing on perfecting my indoor grow. Surprisingly I winged it when I did it years ago and now I’m running into some early problems..before I get mother’s ive decided to just grow in soil. And now I have these leaf problems which I thought was nuke burn. Any input? I’m using forest fox farm which I heard do give nuke burns

Foxfarm makes two different potting soils, the ocean forest and the light warrior. Ocean Forest is for bigger plants. Your plants look too small for ocean forest, if that's what you're using. you should use light warrior for a while at first. it does look like you have nute burn. you probably don't have to add any nutrients when you transplant into ocean forest, just add water. it's really too late now to do anything about this, so remember for next time small plants get soil of lower strength, let them grow to about 15 inches, then transplant into big pots with ocean forest.
Thank you that’s what I was thinking I am using ocean forest. I have a couple more seeds and seedlings to plant/transplant. Walmart have a soil called just natural with Work casting and a couple other goodies think it’s any good as a started soil was thinking of adding perilite and a small amount of organic nukes before I transfer to ocean forest

A lot of people talk shit on walmart soil, but it'll work if you add a few things. I've never seen that brand, but I've used others in the past. They work, but not the greatest. I'd just buy the better stuff and read into recycling old soil.
Yea I learned to talk certain advice with a grain of salt. Sometimes people have egotistic bias toward something. I was thinking of using it while the plants are king before I pot up and use the ocean forest since right now it’s burning my plants

Could be other things causing it.
What is your lighting and how far is it from the plant?
What is the temp and humidity?
Do you have good air circulation and ventilation?

I didn’t plan too start nukes till start of flower or right before, I had my friend taking care of them from seed. He had them under my 8 bulb t5 no air circulation in his room.. don’t know about temps or humidity.. their current situation I have a fan blowing over them with a 600hps cool tube, window cracked open with temps between 75-82 directly under light

So they may be stressed from when your friend had them if he had the light to close with no air circulation. If it was that they should bounce back with the new growth coming in looking better IDK.
I’ve only had them for a couple days and I’ve seen a lot of new growth and the new leaves don’t look bad so far. Also I set the light to 400w

thanks for the tip trying a couple exotic strains, the hybrids I’m putting in a nft aquaponics setup overtop my piranha tank see if it’s feasible for the “other” plants lolIf those tomato plants go outside, make sure you don't bring them back anywhere near your grow space.I put some outside for a few hours to get real sunlight and brought back whiteflies. Just sayin'.
