alllright so Ive been trying to search the site and i have read a few stickies but i couldnt find the answer to my question.

I have about 20~ seeds from some reggy my friend bought.
I was wondering if it is even worth trying to grow these.
I am not interested in buying seeds offline or going to Canada.

let me know if it is worth my time and money

thank you

The reason i am asking is because a buddy of mine got the 5 finger discount on some HPS and MH bulbs
and I am thinking of investing in a ballast and reflector from a close by grow shop.
I downloaded the grow bible and marijuana horticulture and i am in the process of reading these.

so what i really want to know is
can low to mid grade seeds cover my start up cost of $300USD~

I went through a seed bank, got some super beans. I think with lights, nutes, soil and all I got about 200 bucks invested. I don't have a great set up but it's more than enough for the two plants I got. You can check out pics in my profile. You don't gotta spend a ton to get started

the cheaper lights off insidesun.com are magnetic ballast. they are heavey, and put off some heat... some hum.... some louder then others.. still way worth it

I started with three dual bulb Flourecsents, and seeds out of bags of mids or dank gone wrong. I thinks its good to use the free seeds to practice on. Get your own technique down. test different ligting, prunning, ect. Then put the Money seeds in the ground
