Bad season.

It was way more to east than just a little bit. It has shifted east two or three times since the year 2000. Its far more than a little when temperatures and light cycle changes. Day light savings is an hour ahead or behind and the clocks didn’t turn until november seventh this year. It was the beginning or middle of October when I originally made this post. It was almost 70° And pitch dark in the morning when I took my daughter to school and that’s far more than the average 15 minute difference each day would bring as 13/12 turns to 12/12 The faster the earth rotates, the longer day and sooner nights come. It’s just the way the sunsets. I live far north about four hours north of Boston Massachusetts. The sun should’ve been showing and setting at 7 :00 -7:15 am where I was at according to googles cycle calendar but still stayed dark. Before daylight savings even happened. It should’ve been in the low 40-50s mark and snowing but instead it was way warmer than usual.

What strain is that? Because it must be good!
 
There has been no difference in the hours of daylight and won't no matter how much the earth's axis shifts. While it is true that the earth's rotation is slowing it is in the order of milliseconds each century or some minuscule amount like that. As it slows the days and nights will get longer. The weather on the other hand is changing rapidly all over.

I live way north in Alberta so started growing autos outside and that's the way to go for me. Flowering starts the middle of Aug here with photo plants and we will have killing frost before the end of Sept so no way they can ever finish without a heated greenhouse. -27C today. This fall I cropped my autos on Sept. 11 and it was pretty nippy at night then but they were done.

That’s what made me notice the difference here. Usually mid October the colas blow out and finish right at the middle of November. The same plants were sprouted the end of January this year and last year. Last year I got 1/ 1/2 pounds dry and the end of September had buds all over. This year they didn’t even start to flower out till mid October. I tried to tarp them up but the winds and uneasy colds so bad here it just tore out the tarp and snapped half the branches so I said screw it and focused on my indoors. If I was smart like you were I would of done autos instead of a photoperiod outside.

If I was that smart I would have been growing autos outside since I bought the place in 2003. Tried photos, sativas, a couple times and gave up but the autos loved the heat domes and it's 20 hours of light all summer. It's shaded for a bit in the morning and starts shading over 3 or 4 hours before sunset where I grew them but planning on moving the grow spot out into the back yard where they will get sun all day. Problem is that it's really windy a lot here and they will be fully exposed out there so need to put up a short fence or something to block the wind. Would block the only open view of the yard too but that's not really an issue as it's a half mile long field beside us. New owner of that land now so don't know him or his attitude about pot.
