Bad smelling Preflowers

Just the last few days the Preflower of my Blackjack is starting to smell a little bit unholy and not in a good way.
The plants health is overall quite satisfactory but i dont want the havrvest ruined because I dont know what the F* going on.

Is it normal for preflowering or am I dealing with rot of some sort?

Just asked a buddy. He says it smells like ammonia but i cant see any mold.

I'm starting to smell a funky smell in my garden also. At first the plants were smelling skunky. Now about 1 month into flower they have this wierd odor. Kind of like dirty or sweaty clothes. I'm hoping it's not mildew or anything. The buds look great, health looks great, and even when I touch the plants my fingers smell great. But just taking a whiff off the tops gives a bad odor.

Marijuana goes through all sort of turpenoid production and development throughout its life cycle. As long as you're not seeing any mold you should be in the clear.
I'm sure by the time its finished you will be quite happy with ther smell of your weed.
