Bad Sprout! Still Alive?

I ordered a few feminized seeds off the internet, one of them being Super Lemon Haze. For some reason when the Super Lemon Haze sprouted, the coty leaves never pointed upwards.

When the plant first sprouted, the sprout appeared like a candy cane... with the end of the sprout curled downwards. It has yet to recover. I'm thinking that the rockwool in which I planted the seed, had too big of a hole where the seed was planted, which allowed too much light to hit the seed. I don't know? :???:

The sprout has been under a T5 light for 24 hours a day... and after a few days it seems like it has some life left in it. What do you think? Any advice/comments/suggestions? I've never dealt with a seedling like this before, should I write it off as dead soon?

Thanks for looking!

look up damping off ....
Hmmm... I have a heat pad for seedlings that I'm not using. Do you think that would help? The T5 is about 6-8 inches away from the seedlings, and all of the other seedlings are fine... so I don't think it's the light. And even if this seed is fine, is there any hope for it to be a mother, or to yield anything worth the space and time? Thanks for the response.

Nah I don't have anymore. I've been using The Single Seed Centre website so I can have a bunch of different strains going at once (I'm a newbie grower... trying to figure out what I like).

LA is where it's at! Go Doja'rs!
