I didn’t grow it, but the absolute grossest smelling thing I ever came across was Citral Skunk.

It smelled exactly like dog poop

Yuck. Thank the gods that it tasted better than it smelled!
Bulldog seeds still do a old chitral cross skunk s1 tends to be a more lemon thing ime tho and yes this profile used to pop up in many things usually afghan heavy stuff or afghans x to skunk but im sure plenty of Pakistani strains will have this locked in there genes too the old top 44 had a pheno like this too that was viking x skunk viking is a mix of two unknown afghani strains meant to be so makes sense ig where it gets confusing is the old chitral from posi had a few variants 1 to 5 i think 5 was there name for hindu kush that sensi n some others sell from all i can dig up

How was the smoke on that? Do you happen to have a pic? I recently got his Pam 15 which was out crossed to Bacon Grease.
I do, saved somewhere I just need to look for it. The smoke was super interesting, complex taste that's hard to describe, had super gritty/sandy type of resin so I'd imagine she'd wash very well Might start.
Haven't seen a Family Tree Seeds thread yet, might start one as I've grown a good amount of his stuff

Please do! I have grown The Work,by Lyme Rising Farms, which is (Black Lime Reserve x Testarosa) x Pam. All three phenos did fantastic outdoors last year, with 1 coming in at just under 28% thc. But the aroma and effects were the best part! I have never seen plants load trichs so fast!

I think it was Barney's Farm who bred a red diesel that I grew out. It had the distinct smell of feet or used socks.

I got use to the smell and started to look forward to it because the plant was fairly potent.

Yeah it was barneys and sounds like cheese or the north london white rhino cut they both got a bit of that about them to me anyway and it seems to be a profile that is present in more than one genepool imo ive even found it in some straight ghanis and many mystery strains over the years so not like its just a skunk trait or a white family trait i wonder why the plant wants to smell like that tho

I know someone with a WW cut that smells like straight up BO, dank AF too
I ran a white widow from I believe southern Oregon seeds a few years ago and the BO funk was so strong I couldn’t smoke or smell it. Gave it to my dad. Really off putting smell.

Damn it tasted that way too? The one in the pic I posted tastes fruity as hell, which is crazy because it smells like straight up BO

I had a pheno of AKBB's NL5Haze smell absolutely disgusting. The aroma is like rotten meat and fruit with a bit of ammonia foot sweat, and the taste is like creamy rotten cilantro and wet soccer cleats.

i had a skunk cut from a travller on a local illegal travler site, he was growing with a friend of mine at her house and in the back of his opaqe topped trailer ,long one.
we were getting stonned off of his males one day when we visated the site, and he gave me a cut that came from a plant that stunk of dead animal pickup.
that was 30+ yrs ago now
there was another strain called red beard that was kind of funky smelling too

anyone ever grow a plant that smelled like a musty basement? I have one right now that doesnt appear to have any mildew or mold or anything, yet has that faint smell on the finger rub. week 7ish of flower rn.

Ive already taken it from the main tent to its own quarantine tent to finish out just in case because i seem to have a good nose for microbial smells.

I fucking HATE. H.A.T.E. cheese strains. I admit they're dank & usually stellar highs, but that scent & flavor are just unenjoyable to me.

Choco/Chocolate strains; in my experience these are usually just bland, but, to my discredit I've only really bought them from dispo's & not tried my own hand at growing any. But i've paid premiums & still been underwhelmed, but still dispo weed, so. .. [shrug]

Ice Cream and Cake strains, all the same info as Choco but with more frost, usually a great high but short-lived. I feel like I've heard lots of ppl say this about Cake highs. I'm growing a Ice Cream Cake cross now, so we'll see how that goes.

Hate cheese! You just need a proper one mate. It pisses on any cake and ice cream rubbish.
The Mrs gets shitty whenever I harvest the cheese as she also finds the smell repulsive haha
