Lookin good johnny, i would get at least another light on that guy, and and cut the gateorade bottle down to the dirt level so the plant can get some air. And put a fan on if you can. :)

Oh, and take away the tin foil. Tin foil creates hot spots and can hurt or kill your plant. Replace it with something white- it reflects better and doesnt create hot spots, and is best for vegging. Posterboard will work.

i understand the tinfoil....but as of right now theres only one light on so i dont think it will create much of a hotspot nor do cfl give off much heat....i will cut it down though and i got a fan running but i only run it for maybe 3 hours total a day

You should be able to get better pics if your camera (assuming it's digital) has a macro mode. The macro icon often has a small flower.

for 12 days old it looks kinda small...mine is 9 days old and is about 3 times the size of yours...i would strongly reccomend you get more cfl's...i am using a total of 7 now but i started it with 3...make sure you get the 6500K daylight cfl's...they are what you need for vegging.

Have your fan running the whole time you have your lights on...if not all the time.

For nutes you want to find something like 20-5-5...i'm using 25-10-10...but i am only using about 1/4 stength right now...as time passes i will increase the strength

Yes transplant soon...i started mine in a 6" pot...and when i transplant i will go straight to a 3 gallon pot

I will try to get a pic tomorrow to show you what mine looks like...it's on day 2 of vegging now..tomorrow will be day 3...which is 10 days since it came outa the soil

ya i gave mine nutes 10-10-10 about 1/4 maybe a little more i was bad at measuring...and i agree i think its a little small but i did start growing it up at school and it is not in the best soil to begin with...im about to throw on another cfl right now though and if i can get out of this snow ill go to the store and grab another one when i get the soil and 3 gal. pot

youre plant looks healthy but its small for 12 days old i would get another light on her also is that youre only plant if so you should plant at least 5 more for better chances of getting a female

Doesnt look like nute burn. Just looks like it wasnt getting enough light- the extra CFL should help. Nute burn turns the leaves like a dark amber colors- almost like poison ivy (when its red and shiney). That doesnt look like nute burn.

I dunno man, im not sure it would recover that quickly if the culprit was nute burn. I think you just need to get more light on it.
