I hear the fan speed change as I open the door. In fact, the further the door is open, the more you can hear the change in the speed of the fan. So hopefully, that's normal :confused:

do the rpms stay lower once the door is open or rise back up? if they go back up ur fine, but it doesnt really matter whats happenin if ur gettin good airflow though heh

I grew 3 plants up to a 8-10"with one 23w cfl per plant. They were perfectly healthy, 14 nodes each. Only downfall was they were all males!!

Looking great, only suggestions i would have would be a couple 42 cfls, and maybe design a filter that isnt so restrictive, most carbon filters are hollow and surrounded by carbon, where your appears to have to pull through an entire tube of carbon.

And if you are interested Home depot has cheap bathroom exhaust fans, i got a 50cfm, for 12bucks, and it pushes a nice amount of air. Good luck with you grow

Yep day 5 or 6 today, I'm excited :eyesmoke:

smppro, my pictures are misleading. The filter was not a solid tube, it was 3 sections that were filled with activated carbon, that were about an inch thick apeice. I removed one section so I am down to 2 sections of carbon filter the air passes through. Also, the fan's im running should be in the 40CFM range (and I can't have loud) so I'm just going to make do with the ones I have.

mmmmm man she seems to be lovin life right now, except for 2 fan leaves which I have pics of. Anyways, man today the top node exploded with hairs. Before I hadn't seen any in this area, now THIS!

This one shows some of the lower node growth, lookin good down there. Also this shows the yellowing leaves, what do you guys think this is and would you worry?

Damn man that this really is LSTd to the max. Im doing that with my next grow which will start very soon. Unfortunately both my girls turned into boys this time around, but I know my setup works and it was only bagseed, time for the good shit. Keep us updated man, lookin good!

this is i a sweet setup. i have a smallass cab thats 3ft x 1.5 and also plan to do some lst (well basically i have to). looking at this even with 2 lights makes me feel better about a good plant in my place. i got room for 6lights.1 5inch compfan and a whole lotta duct tape.

I have no idea how long I'm flowering yet, I don't know her strain or how long she is going to try to flower, so I'm just going to go for the milky/amber trich's. I kinda want a good couch lock high even though she seems sativa, so I am going to go for a little more amber in the trichs.

am loving your LST and have a couple of questions.

i myself am running an lst, and would like too know how long you kept plant in veg before flowering.

also did you train all parts of the stem strapping down each node length.

here a pic of my baby lst she is around three/four weeks old and been lst'd from around 3 inch high does mine resemble what yours looked like in early stages of lst. would like someones opinion on my try of lst she is around two weeks old in the attachment picture. i used plastic ties too hold down my plant.

oh and what size pot are you using ?, i myself have an 8" pot and in hope of keeping it in 8" pot all way too harvest.

Your's is lookin good, I actually started late with the LST but she still came through alright. Believe it or not my plant was actually vegged for a rediculous amount like 2 months or something, because she went through a few stunts and some abuse so she had slow growth.

What I did is let her grow up a little bit (couple inches) then I would pull that down and let her grow a few more inches from there. i just did that over and over =D
