Day 27 . . .

. . . . looking healthy and i will be putting the nutrtients back in but at a lower level tomorrow.
Good job atcjon. I agree your plants looks healthy.

Hydro definetly needs a good balance when dispensing the nutrients. Also I've read some good info here on RUI observing how some genetics will tolerate higher nutrient levels than others.

I'm doing soil because (I hate to say this) I'm scared of hydro.

good growing to ya

Damnit im pissed i didnt watch this grow from the begging. GREAT set up. But I can tell you that as old as those plant are nutes may not be neccesary and even the smaaalest amount of over nute can burn the plants easy......droppiness and yellow tips are signs of underwatering. You may want to be careful. Stressed plants can turn male quickly. I will DEF be keeping my eye out on this thread. Plan on starting any new plants with the bagseed or any other seeds you have soon?

im building my clone and seedling box as we speak and by this weekend i will have started geminating 5 freebie seeds i got from seedboutique. they are called mazar-i-sharif(anyone ever heard of these?). after those i also have bubblelicious, big bud, ppp, and durban poison from nirvana that i will germinate as soon as i feel comfortable that i wont ruin them.

dude, prune that plant! snip those dead leaves off so the plant can stop wasting energy on trying to bring those leaves back to life that are too far gone.. it could have been nute burn but it could have also been the roots not getting enough oxygen or not enough air flow.. whats your watering schedule? the top looks great!
I also planted some bagseed for fun
lights on at 6pm water at 7 for 5 minutes. then again at 4am and last time at 11am. i am going to trim off some more tonght. i didnt want to trim too much last time because i was scared i would shock my plant

Day 28... i finished pruning the burn leaves off today. i am still using water only. my temps in the rez are still too cold and i will be ordering the heater tonight or tomorrow but it will be a couple days until i get it. everything else is gravy

Day 29... all is still the same. imo my plant is looking very healthy once again and i still havent added nutes back (only because i am too busy with life stuff). i did put the rez heater in so that should help that problem out.

Good to see u got the temps up plants take better in that warm air.....u may want to consider using some organics at this point to stimulate stronger growth. I highly suggest blood meal. Other than that, the plant looks great!

i dont like organics too much so i am sticking with the simple gh nutes. if it works for al b. fuct then i am sure it can work for me. thanks for the advice though

Day 30... plant is looking good still. i added nutes back in today at a rate of 1-1-1. its a mild strength and the ppm is at 640. ph is at 5.85. i have also started adding 35% h2o2 at 1.7ml/l. temp of the rez is at a constant 20c. lets hope it gets growing fast and healthy in the next weeks as i am hoping to clone in another 30 days.

Day 31... the plant is looking good. everything is pretty much the same. ph went up but i corrected it back to 5.85. ppm is at 677 which is a little higher than yesterday so it could be due to evaporation or the plant is just drinking more water than nutes. we will see shortly.

Hello, i'm very interested with this thread , i didnt really have time to read it all, so could you give me a quick run through of your setup, like.. lights, and stuff, I thought i read you had MH somewhere. Also, im curious why the cube is so small, or is it supposed to be that small for this setup? Can you also give me a list of some of the problems you have encountered so far, I did see the wilting and I recommend you get a spray bottle, and foilar spray. Maybe that will help? I will stay tuned.

8-)Hi there atcjon! Nice clean set-up you have started there! And you take some awesome pics as well! +rep 4 u:hump:
I must have missed where you told about moving the cubes into the pots. What medium are you using other than rw in the pots?
Anyway, it all looks great and I will keep an eye on this grow! Good luck!

thanks bro. im using hydroton clay pellets under the cube. i wont be using the 4 inch cubes ever again because the plants dont get enough oxygen imo. i will stick to the 1.5 inch and clay pellets.

I dont like rw either---holds too much water for too long. I think Al B. used 2x2's(may be wrong) and then that fytocell stuff I cant seem to find. I use the 1.5's like you're saying and then to hydroton; or straight to hydroton for my aeroflo........
Have a great night!!!

i finished and installed my clone/seedling box tonight. i am pleased with it except my temps are a little higher than i hoped for. i tested it for 3 hours to check for bugs. i set the thermostat for 74 and its at 81 now with the lights on and heat mat on. the fan is running constant until it gets down to 74 but i dont think its strong enough. i just started germinating 5 freebies today so we shall see if it works out.
