Bagseed grown with (8) 23 watt CFL 's + (1) 250 watt HPS

:leaf: This is my second grow of all time, and first-ever post on Rollitup! Feedback is greatly appreciated! Anyways, I started off using 4 decent quality bag seed's with Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil as my medium. Later, I started using BC nutrients. I also constructed a 4" by 4" by 6" grow box using cardboard, black and white poly, an 80 cm radio shack fan, surge protectors and zip ties. I used this until my babies required more light and space. Below I listed a series of pictures that show the construction of the grow box, along with a progression of photos from seed to current state. As of now, the plants are in their 4th day of flowering! It is important that all of these were LST'd to some degree. Let me know what you think!

:weed:Update: I began flowering about a week ago, and 2 of my plants turned out to be male. The long female is an LST'd sativa from some decent bag seed. She is already starting to generate white hairs at each node. Let me know what you think!!

On a side note, I have been keeping my PH around 6.4 because I was told to keep it around 5.8-6.4. However, I have also read that the ideal PH is between 6.5-7.0. What is best range to keep it in between these two? Feedback appreciated!

nice looking plant you got there IPA! Being on my first grow I love seeing setups like yours, shows beginners like me and others that might be wanting to grow that you don't need a high tech grow room to get that dank you need. count me in to be checking this out through harvest! might be copying your box in later grow. good luck!

Big shoutout to the ROLLITUP viewers! Quick update, I left for 3 days after transplanting my lone female into a bigger container and DAMN has she gotten big. Probably doubled in size since I last saw her. The pistols are shooting up all over the place, and the bud is beginning to form. On a side note, towards the bottom of the plant, I noticed some of the leaves have tiny little brown spots scattered around with a bit of yellowing. I have been keeping my PH at 6.5 on the dot, so I do not know what would be causing this. Any suggestions? I also moved the plant in a new makeshift setup to allow for more reflection in a compact space. Feedback is appreciated! IMG_1212.jpgIMG_1210.jpgIMG_1213.jpgIMG_1211.jpgIMG_1214.jpg

LostReef, glad you like everything man! The growbox I made was super easy and super efficient. Used a cardboard box that used to store a vacuum cleaner. Then, I bought a computer fan from radio shack and a pvc elbow from the home depot to use for ventilation. Next, I lined the inside with black and white poly, and to finish it off I used zip ties to hold the surge protectors in place for the lights. Let me know if you have any questions!

:weed: Here I have attached pictures from my previous grow, which also happened to be my first grow ever. Believe it or not, I only used (1) 150 watt hps with several cfl's. I also did not test the PH at all in this grow. But it still turned out pretty good. Cheers!IMG_0501.jpgIMG_0427.jpgIMG_0410.jpgIMG_0503.jpgIMG_0426.jpgIMG_0492.jpgIMG_0409.jpgIMG_0520.jpgIMG_0425.jpgIMG_0497.jpgIMG_0499.jpgIMG_0412.jpgIMG_0495.jpgIMG_0493.jpgIMG_0477.jpgIMG_0496.jpgIMG_0505.jpg

tiny brown spots have been known to come from spider mites. Check for bugs before trying anything else.
