(Swim= Someone who isn't me) Well, swIm got to germinate the other one so swIm has 4 total now. swIm just took some close up photos and swIm thinks he has a female!!!!!!! I'ts the more indica dominant and swIm supects it's because we have a 12/12 lighting schedule naturally. The other one, mmm it's hard to tell but swim thinks he sees preflowers on it maybe?

Anyway, swim is thinking of having an indoor pseudo setup as complementation to the sun on cloudy days and to extend the amount of light time these new seedlings recieve but he is wondering if this one light bulb he just bough is enough? It's a 24w consuming lamp thats supposed to light as much as a 100w it says its 1,356 lm and it shows a graph where a 75w is 1,070 lm and a 100w is 1560 lm. The guy at the store recommended this one and he showed me both a normal 100w and this one and its almost just as bright. So I'm thinking of maybe getting a couple more or make it 4 so that it's close to 400w which I think is the minimum. So for the purposes described, do you think swmI should make it 4 of these = 400w or is it too much? what about 600w.

The other thing is that his bathroom window now lights differently if seen from outside so that might raise some suspition, and with more watts it would be even more. He also just saw his neighboor on a balcony where he is never at, which is why swim used to place his plants for the final rays of light during the afternoons, who knows if they have actually spotted the bigger seedlings?!?!?!...:S hopefully not.

Anyway here are the pics... The bulb seems way dimmer than what it is as swIm used the lowest exposure on the cam.

Hopefully someone can reply, otherwise I don't think I'll post stuff here anymore... :(

Right, so after getting some beautiful daylight CFLs and a short circuit I performed with a knife trying to screw a screw into a loose socket, my complementary indoor setup is up! I just needs to DIY my reflective walls.

I also need to know how close I can get the plants to the lights before I burn them? They are about 1 inch away. I can put my hands as close to the lights as I want and it only hurts if I touch them.

I'm also thinking of taking the mesh out of the windows to increase airflow and ventilation but I'm sure I will be getting lots of bugs if I do, what do you guys think?

With 3 x 23w CFLs would you reccomend another aluminum tray to put sideways or some white cardboard on styrofoam?
