bagseed?

I have some bag seed from a nickel bag of some regs so im thinking if i grow 1 of these seeds and it is a female and I grow this 1 female plant then the bud it grows should be much better then the crappy regualy weed that i got the seed from because this will be a female plant and it will not have any seeds because there was no other plants around it correct?So the weed i grow should be way better then the regs i got the seed from because their wont be any seeds and all the weeds that i have gotten without seeds looked exotic so will I have some killer bud compared to the dirt regs i got the seed from?

You never know the mother was pollinated with. Could be a 15' tall male hemp plant growing down the street. That's the risk you take growing bagseed.

I've done a few, had some good results.

Had this one, though, that looked like green club covered in sugar. Only one problem: couldn't get a mouse high.

It's a gamble.

Unless it was pollinated by a far superior strain (unlikely) then the best you can expect will be determined by the loving attention you bestow on your plant, and the care you take in correctly timing the harvest and carefully curing the buds.
If it was crappy weed to begin with, you will be able to improve it but you can't turn shit into sugar.

I just germed a bunch of bagseed that was collected over the last few months from loose seeds that would fall out the blocks. Some look ok and have responded to me topping them early, but i yanked up 30% because they grow retarded looking whilst some grow nicely, and in actuality I could probably yank up two or three more that are just the results of bad genetics. If I were you I would germinate as many as you can get in a few weeks and grow out the best looking one as weeks go on.

Yea....just because a bud has seeds, doesn't make it any better or worse than if it didn't have seeds. Some of the finest strains in the world are the same with seeds, as without seeds...its just a matter of preference...Most people don't like seeds in their bud, so they see weed with seeds in it, and think its crap. It really doesn't matter.

Its all about Genetics...That seed you have can grow to be exactly like the bud it was in, or it could be better (depending on how its grown....to a certain extent)...or it could be worse.

If it was pollinated with a high quality pollen from a strong male, then it could be better...depending on how you grow it.

But a rule of thumb is that bag-seeds are generally not worth growing unless the bud it was obtained from was of extremely high quality...but even then its a gamble on how it will turn out.

Lets say you have some Lemon Kush plants, that were made with a Lemon Kush male, and Lemon Kush female...If you take one of those plants, and pollinate it with another strain's male plant...or an unknown strain...You would either get a Lemon Kush hybrid with the other strain, or an unknown hybrid.

The end product wouldn't technically be Pure Lemon Kush.

You should read up on genetics...learn your F's...F1, F2, F-cloning, etc...

Cause even a pure Lemon Kush plant...cloned over and over and over, would create an end product that is not as good of quality as the original Pure LK bud.
