BALLAST ? what ballast?????

You want to go with a digital ballast setup they run silent and give more light. I carry ballast and complete ballast setups at my store. If looks for a good inexspensive digital setup just pm and Ill let you know. A magnetic ballast hums like a street light buit louder as itsa in a steel box enclosure. The digital setups run both mh and hps bulbs not conversions or switches just put either bulb in and they detect which bulb it is. No hardstarts so longer bulb life and up to 30% more light then magnetic old ballasts not to mention the digitals weight about 7 lbs instead of 45 lbs and run silent and cool no heat

digital, electronic, and magnetic
i see all of these names thrown around
are they the same. which one is better, i am worried about sound
can some one break this down to me

Electronic is another name for digital. magnetic is the old ballasts that weight a ton are loud and hard start your bulbs. You want to go digital which are silent light weight produce more light run both bulbs direct and are cool and long lasting. The magnetic were the old way of lighting and are loud and need conversion bulbs usualy but they updated a bit and made a dual magnetic that had a switch to flip for mh or hps. Digital do this automatically and are the best way to go.
