yep SOG... I am losing some of the co2 but not much because my fan doesnt exhaust until like 83degrees..
What co2 method are you using? Injecting it from a tank? Did you get a ppm tester to figure out how long to run? I am very interested in adding co2 and my buddy has a setup for sale.. Wondering how easy/hard it is.. I know the basics..

Look into using hydrogen peroxide. The co2 setups are pricey. Adding it to water really gives the plant a boost because of the extra oxygen molecule.

Yep its pretty easy.. I have a cheesy fucking ghetto ass tester though I need a real controller to hook it to to it will turn the fans off and such as well for me..

Right now theres pics earlier in this thread of the it but it has the built in timer and I have a 20lb co2 bottle.. It actually went empty today so I'm going to fill it up tommorow after school=)

Nice, Im thinking about the whole co2 thing.. How do you keep your room cool with the fans off? When I have my 600 watter on without the air cooling it burns my plants, that was before I had a room air conditioner thought, but without the fan on the passive intakes from the hut will not suck in the cool air.. Confused about what to do to keep temps down and expose enough co2 to the plants..

from the pics to date, I think his CO2 comes on for a few minutes every few hours, and the fan vents at 83, so its probably mostly a crap
shoot as to the ppm, but its got to be better than nothing.

CO2 is heavier than air, so that helps a bit in keeping it down with the plants, plus the 83 degrees fan setting means its not running a whole lot.

If fan cooling is an issue for you, you may consider independent venting for the light hoods, with secondary venting for the whole room.
the normal air circulation and room temp rules don't apply with CO2, so if you vented the hood seperate of the room, you could just vent
the room for a few minutes every hour as long as you are sure that your CO2 remains high enough (500-2000 ppm)

edit: sorry to jack your thread Bamm :(
