Bananas?

See arrow. Sorry for the lights. If necessary, I'll get a better pic tonight. They seemed flatter than banana-type structures, more petal-like, but maybe they hadn't swollen up yet.

So far, I only see the one instance.

must of happened a while ago i see a bean underneath the sack. high temps?? how long into flower? see anymore or just the one? have any fans on? no reason to pick it unless you see it closed (its already opened) at which point you immediately leave your room while squeezing it tightly between two fingers and thoroughly wash your hands. answer those questions and i can tell you if its going to be a huge problem or not..also just general info people dont think of it seems, if you keep your room kind of dry and mist your plants through flowering you barely have to worry about pollen wherever it may be from because a wet pistil cannot accept pollen and pollen germinates within three days and can no longer pollinate a plant.

Kermit knows whats up, that's a trick of the trade! It looks like you are still within your first few weeks of flowering, so they will not run the risk of botrytis (bud mold) by spraying your buds. Although it is not an organic supplement, I did use to use the Dutch Master Reverse for situations like this. It is made so that it will stop the continued growth of male pollen sacks and/or flowers. Reverse was taken off of the market because of an unregistered PGR that was in it. One local store seems to still stock it by me, but they are charging a ridiculous price for it. This is why I have chosen not to use it anymore

I have recently come across this new product called SWITCH, and it has completely replaced the Reverse. It looks the same, works the same, but it obviously is registered or else it wouldn't have made it on the market. I had some friends in other states looking for it, and can't find anyone that has it in stock. I found it at Monster Gardens' store in Nor Cal for a really inexpensive price (especially cheap compared to what I have been spending on Reverse the past few months at other local stores)! The only thing is that you have to use it with their surfactant (wetting/delivery agent), and spray with the lights on to make the product work correctly. They said that they will be putting it up on the website as soon as they are done making the video on it. Check it out, it works really well!

Hope this helps! -Cheif

Yes, I had my suspicions a week or two ago. Saw something similar. High temps at the top of main cola always under 80. Room temp ~70 dark, 80 or less at the end of lights on (12/12). I did have a fan indirectly on it until a couple of weeks ago, since then, no fan. R/H is stable, about 55% She's 4-6 weeks into flowering. Again, lights on pic but will give you a general idea of her maturity I hope.

Thanks, Cheif & everyone else who replied. I'll keep an eye on it. I'll keep Switch in mind for future projects. This is just chucker bagseed.

definitely put the fan back in and leave it the remaining time of the grow IF you are sure their are no more pollen sacks. if you find more you dont want to help the pollen spread... if you have stayed under 80 and your tops arent too close to your light then i dont think it was caused by heat which in my travels so far :blsmoke: has been the worst type of pollen sack to find because it usually means you are going to find alot more (buddy did it not me lol). second worst is a full on hermaphroditic plant which you would have seen toward the beginning of flowering. third worst is high n in flower which you may or may not have and that from what ive seen usually isnt that bad but when i saw this it was closer to the end of flowering so it seemed to me that the sacks were steril but the beans may not have developed yet so i could be wrong but again i think they were steril but i dont know if that fact would have any relation to the cause of the sacks. the last i have seen is your random 6-8 week pollen sack that is nothing more than the species guaranteeing survival and usually doesnt result in more than a nug or so with a bean or two lol you may also just have that if your at 6 weeks but i cant be sure! anyone else have any possible causes? the big thing is make sure their are no more.

just noticed the pic..ya your closer to 3-4 weeks unfortunately..unless you had some sort of stunt in growth or something but still has a good while to go..so look it over real good for sacks, for beans starting to develop, stuff like that to rule out some possible causes..but if you find more, and alot more, its going to be pretty bunk shit :( in my experience anything involving a herm or high temps or some sort of issue that caused the herm like that just doesnt dry right and its damn near impossible to get a proper cure on it and the beans usually set in at the wrong time and either are white half beans or worst if your soil and humidity is too dry when they are pollinated you get these little premie shit mush beans. not to mention the simple fact that pollination of a majority of the plant pretty much tells it when the beans are ripe they need to start dying, so when you get those premies that will not develop the plant pretty much starts dying on you..just winds up to be green hay, glad i only did that once and you be glad you only have one plant this run if you find bad news but good luck!

Just a bump for added pics. These are the worst & appear to be limited to a couple of branches on one level, but I'm not sure.
Chop now or try to salvage something? The main cola appears to be seedless at this point.

I was careless early on with light leaks. Those have been corrected. This grow will not have been in vain, I learned a lot this time.
I will get better.

Thanks,

is this your only plant?....if yes I would keep it for the seeds it will produce...if you have other females then I would kill it now

Yes, it is my only plant. I'm not sure the seeds are worth saving. It's pollen chucker my SIL gave me. I have some 'brand name' gear that's waiting for this to finish.

It's not quite ready so potency, won't be at maximum. More seeds will likely develop as it finishes, so will whatever potency gains time will buy be offset or even diminished by the seed production? I've had decent weed with seeds in it, but I don't know anything about this plant.

Cannabis is difficult and/or expensive for me to obtain, so I'd like to maximize whatever this plant offers besides seeds.

May not be good smoke but would make good hash, kief and edibles. Plus you get to veg up the next in line while waiting for her to finish.

def just finish it out regardless dont chop it unless you want the space..if you think alot of the plant is still seedless it may still come out ok just do your best through the rest of the cycle and chop it when it is looking ripe you should still have about 4-5 weeks it looks like....and yup i forgot light leaks as a possible cause lol

may run shorter than the 4 weeks because those pics look pretty heavily pollinated, once those beans are done developing the plant will sort of halt on you...those branches will likely be best used on hash or butter
