Brick top, great with pot, not so much on politics i think man. no, i dont love obama but i do try to be realistic, and FAIR.
lets break this down, you say 81% of americans are dissatisfied....when has it been higher?
69% say they have little or no confidence in the legislative branch (thats congress... which is primarily republican right now...)
Obama on the world stage... bla bla bla got bin laden + al-awlaki, yup, great. you mention its on the foundations of bush's war on terror. wel it took bush 8 years to not catch them. obama get them both in under 33 months. also, khaddafi is outa power, and we lost 0 americans. sure it may have cost 1 billion but hey thats better than the billions and billions bush spent not catching shit. when it comes to him and iran, what do you suggest? war? with a country that also has nuclear weapons? several? seems diplomacy is the best choice. yea i wanna wipe them out, break them up into 3 sections (regular unleaded, midgrade, and premium unleaded) but thats not happening. and id rather try diplomacy, perhaps a lil asskissing then war, especially when we are already at war in iraq, libya, afghanistan, pakistan... bla bla bla. and read the article, it even says he tried to "reset" relations. he didnt lube it up and grab his ankles.
then you go on to say "americas defences have grown weaker...." well yea, if we are at war in all these ^ countries, what do you want them to build a freaking wall at the same time too? the military has a budget. a set budget. the $ either goes to war, or preparing for war. you want upgrades? stop shooting! do you have any idea how much the US uses on its military already? 685 billion. thats per year. thats 20% of the TOTAL budget. meaning the other 80% has to pay for roads schools, welfare, medicare, social security, and everything else the US needs to keep running.
then you say "as obama approaches his remaining 14 months... distinct air of US decline" dude. that stink in the air started 8 years before he got into office, during george dubyas term.
then we get to the last paragraph. "towering debts" lets not blame obama for those. obamas debt / gdp is -9%. GWbush was -20% in his second term! not defending obama, he still fucked us another -9%, but GWB added 7.1% to the debt in the first term, 20.7% in the second term. hell his dad, bush sr, added 13% to the debt/GDP ratio in 1 term. **lets be fair: the ONLY PRESIDENT IN THE LAST 30 YEARS to change debt/GDP in a positive direction was clinton!, before him, was carter! 32 years ago! believe it or not dude,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_debt_by_U.S._presidential_terms or check
http://www.cbo.gov/doc.cfm?index=11766 (congressional budget office)
then the last 2 sentances.... you cant say ultimatly...bla bla bla, then start the next one again, with ultimatly bla bla bla,
but lets be serious ok,
"Ultimately, it is economic freedom, minimal government intervention, ...
rather than endless bailouts, higher taxes and suffocating government regulation, all hallmarks of the Obama experiment."
^ you sum up how ignorant or not knowing you are in that one sentance.
first, economic freedom, and minimal government intervention, and LACK of regulation is what caused the housing market crash due to SHIT policies and removal of regulations during the BUSH years.
the Bailouts um hello? ever hear of TARP? yea that was PASSED BY BUSH and paid for by obama. signed into law by US PRES BUSH on OCT 3 2008 (thats 4 months before obama was inaugerated!)
Higher taxes thats not obama, thats democrats in general. but hey if you prefer corporations to pay less taxes then you ok fine, whatever dude.
the only big ticket thing obama passed was his stimulus - not a bail out, and his obamacare thing.
so. whats up dude. im not trying to defend obama. im not trying to point out that bush is more retarded.
but lets be fair, i mean shit, seriously? what do you think herman cain is the answer? mitt romney? rick perry?
and wtf is telegraph.co.uk? get your news from US news companies, then holler dude.
try CNN or FOX, i watch both and agree with some of each, and disagree with some of each.
its good to be balanced. you quoted 1 site in all of that mumbo jumbo you wrote.
keep growing pot buddy, and stay away from the voting booths.
