Although I think Obama is a ball less centrist, you must admit that you cannot give a fair evaluation of his policies.
If at least a descent amount of his policies were passed and he failed then yes, you could call him on it but, when you have no idea if anything would have helped you cannot make the call legitimately.

Everything his administration has tried has failed to turn the economy around and has actually helped to extend this recession. He is using taxpayer money as venture capital trying to create markets out of thin air where no demand exists to sustain them such as with solar energy. The companies he invests in have ties to his big donors as well. This is a scandal just starting to break. His economic advisers have quit knowing that his policies are failing and all he has left is to blame republicans. He has received more money from Wall Street donors than anyone else yet he demonizes them. He makes continuous frivolous trips around the country raising money for his campaign using Air Force One then attacks private sector leaders who use private jets. The TSA is now setting up highway roadblocks, he signed an enhanced Patriot Act after campaigning against it, he has kept Gitmo open after promising to close it and worst of all he is attacking the medical marijuana programs after promising to leave them alone.
Meanwhile, since winning the Nobel Peace Prize, he has become a ruthless global assassin, even killing US citizens without due process overseas. He mishandled Libya terribly and now a group of criminals and muslim extremists are in power. There is a big chance that a Iraq-style quagmire or safe haven for Al Qaeda could become a reality. He fired Gen. McCrystal, the only person Hamid Karzai in Afghanistan trusted and has set withdrawl dates based on his personal political situation rather than the situation on the ground i n the war zone. Liberals defend him to the end but if a republican did the very same thing they would be horrified.
Let's face it, Obama is a historic disaster and a grave mistake for the American people. Hillary Clinton should be the President right now. She would have had the sense Like Bill did to move back to the center after the ass-kicking of the 2010 election and pass some pro-growth legislation.
