not sure abou why they disappeared but the crysals are visible thc and there are lots of microscopic trichomes as well that can only be seen under magnification. if there aren't any then you;re screwed. but more than likely they are there - if a lot of them are amber you are ready to harvest. if they are clear, wait.

Its in its 6th week of flowering...the buds are lookin real plump and makin my baby lean a shit load..i need to tie er' back a little :)

Yea thats exactly what it was..ike remnants... There was crazy wind because the surounding brush has kind of 'flattend out'..its supposed to be nice all this week so i guess ill wait it out...

oh n als..i think ur right about the hairs turning so amber like that...it seems they changed over night so to speak

Say there isnt any..why is that...wind, rain?

This would be my first time lookin for trichs but i take it im supposed to look at the leaves stickin out of the buds??

wouldn't be rain because thc is not water soluble. could be cold + wind because that is how you basically make bubble hash.

Well if it did get too cold and windy then they will grow back it get its potency back like mr mark howards said then right?
 
The calyxes will be covered so will the small leaves on the bud, and little on the fans, look at the calyxes under a microscope, depending on how foar north you are, they still have a couple weeks to go probably.

The winds here were 75+ MPH yesterday, trees and shit are everywhere, if I had an outdoor garden it'd be fucked.

I was thinking of all the people that had plants in that shit, fell sorry for you bro, but they'll come back, by the end of this week they'll be looking better.

First time Ohio was hit by a hurricane, did you know it's outlined in the Geneva convention that the use of "storm generators" is illegal, meaning they had the technology way back then... :fire: conspiracy :fire:
 
Im right in illinois by chicago(about an hour west)...They aare about 6 weeks in and im pretty sure have another 2-3 to go like u said...

Yea storms were pretty bad over here but no debris came near my ladies...

If the trichomes did get 'knocked off' then they'll grow back and get its potency back as well?...
 
it shuld but that worries me cuz if that was the case, that means u culd harvest trychomes b4 the plant finnished sure it will be sum real uppy has but thisculd prolly hold u ova until ur ladies finish if u can do that
 
i suppose that if ur trics are gone for whatever reason, they will still be growing bcoz ur only 6 weeks flowering.

if there are no signs of trics by week 7 or 8 i personally would force the plant to make some resin. turn lights to 10/14, let temps drop to or just below 50.

i don't think that it could be the rain, thc is barely water soluble. but if anything slightly acidic got on your plants then that would be my guess.
 
well i went out there today and they're back?....they seem a lot more crystally then yesterday..so i think im gonna wait two more weeks!!

First off, don't worry!

When flowering, plants will go through growth cycles where they grow a bunch of new plant matter, and then it gets crystally. Bud typically will look less crystally and then more crystally a couple times throughout the cycle.

if you're still about 3 weeks away, don't worry. When it rains, it pours.
