Barney's Farm -Cookies Kush & Blue Cheese

I'm thinking about ordering these two. Anyone have experience with these strains? Also, I'm curious what to expect as far as shipping and packaging goes.

I've only ordered from Nirvana and shipping took 13 days to the US and was incredibly stealth.

I strongly advise you do some research on BF. A good place to look, is in any threads on 'worst strains", "worst plants", "worst genetics"........you get the idea.

currently running the (BF) Blue Cheese and so far not a problem only a few days into flowering though

Make your own choice, but here's a good way to do it, imo. Look at the threads in this section of RollItUp. Notice the ones that have thousands of replies going back a couple of years. Read / scroll through these. You'll see discussions and pics by outstanding growers detailing their successes with the seed companies involved. A few to take note of, are:
Bodhi
IHG
Gage Green
DVG [ dungeon vault]
Breeders Boutique

...and plenty others. These threads contain countless pics and reviews by very satisfied growers. A day of reading will reward you. Good luck, Pete, and hope you "don't get fooled again".

I finished my run with Barneys Acapulco Gold. No problem, She was beautiful plant.

Yea i grew BF Blue cheese as well several times. she holds the cheese genetics well (vigour,easy to clone, quick to root/break soil, and very forgiving plant shes high tolerant to stress compared to other strains ive run), smells sweet, def a fruityness tone but i never found the blue hue pheno or anything fancy like that. def big hard nugs. i can see why everyone says this strain is a must grow.
i also grew big bhudda blue cheese. hard to say who's 'better'. both breeders gave me resinous fruity big hard nugs, which was what i was asking for. i was a little disappoint when i didn't find a blue pheno plant. considering i went thru x10 fem seeds. none of them hermied btw, or gave me sickly plants. i never ran nutes heavy with her but was told my most shes a heavy feeder. DWC is so friggin ideal with this strain, she drinks and drinks and drinks haha. but keep in mind i got frostier buds with much more fruity tone with promix than i did dwc.
this is where i read off another forum that said you're MUCH better off getting regular seeds as the chance of pheno hunting for the blue hue buds is much higher, never ran regular seeds to be honest though.
let me kno if u wanna kno anything else about blue cheese. shes a fun strain man (also look into blue dream, totally different high though)
nirvana is dope when it comes to stealth and shipping. BLACKBERRYis a VERY under rated strain. i wish i had the space to run her again with the exp and knowledge ive accumulated during these past 4 years.

Barney's Blue Cheese has been very good for me, but there are a lot of negative reviews of Barney's Farm gear out there. I am on the fence. I keep having good results from breeders like Barney's and HSO who a lot of people seem to slag on. I'm not sure which hype to believe or disbelieve at this point.

I smoked weed in the early nineties as good as anything out there now, so I promise I am not a newb smoker, I burn with the best.

Dynasty Genetics, Sin City, Rare Dankness, Tony Green's Tortured Beans, House of the Great Gardener, Big Worm Genetics, Shoreline Genetics, and In House Genetics are the ones I am most interested in exploring right now, in no real order.

I ended up with the following from Nirvana: Northern Light, White Widow, AK48 photo fems and Blue Mystic, Aurora Indica regular.

From Greenpoint: Cookies N Chem regular.

I almost got the Swiss Cheese from Nirvana.

i hear ya. what i recall is ppl accuse BF of only having a few `great`strains, Blue Cheese being one of them.
but honestly.. sometimes you gotta take a plunge and have trust in your own growing abilities and see for yourself if theyre bad or not. i mean what if these ppl who had their plants hermy just had a bad experience.
theres a lot of of bad talk about bc bud depot on their strains and not getting their seeds.. but if i listened to them, i woulda missed out on their god bud, blueberry, and gsc. all of which were great plants.

i`d love to see how WW turns out. apparently blackberry and WW are both of the white strain family.
