I know this thread is a fossil, but I've taken a look at several grows from Barney's, and I've watched more than a few of other varieties from other breeders. Not always but generally high THC strains are also highly sensitive strains. Like (highly sensitive people you should google that) highly sensitive people have a predisposition towards unfavorable responses to environmental stresses, except under ideal, nearly perfect and exacting conditions. When the stress threshold has been crossed survival instinct is in order and plants hermie if they according to what they have been told by there predecessors want to survive. Being feminized adds stress to even true female plants, likely if you could breed a similar Barney's strain hermied to a female Barney's only saving seeds from the unhermied female, you would yield unsurpassed in quality seeds and hopefully with hybrid vigor, (such as LSD with Pineapple) that may just be worth a dime to other growers once the seeds have been shown to be reliably stable under reproducible conditions. Smoke sell or try your luck with the seeds produced by the hermie, likely they will still have cotyledons when the H1's are 12"s, but sometimes you just get lucky and they lay the proverbial golden egg, which is a little more common as winning lotto, but generally goes up in smoke. If I'm wrong and anyone knows by experience let me know I'm fairly new, I prefer research before immersion, it's kind of my thing. The only hands on training I have learned for a fact is that when plants are given a supplement such as super thrive, it takes a nuclear weapon to stress them.
