Barney's Farms LSD

I'm growing LSD along with 3 other strains and am a little concerned about trich production. At day 30 it seems way behind the others as far as frosting up. Does this strain take a little longer to start producing frosty buds?

Thanks Bro. From what I seen, they don't seem to frosty early then pack it on

Careful not to overfeed her. She'll just stop growing without really looking overfed. My LSD plants are generally frosty as hell with huge calyxes and huge trichomes. IF your LSD plant is happy it will be shooting out huge, long pistils. The longest I've ever seen. I really like the end product of an LSD grow, but the plant itself is undesireable to me.

Here it is. Hardly any frost on day 34

Your plant looks nice and healthy, only very slightly overfed. There's info on at least 5 phenotypes of LSD here http://en.seedfinder.eu/strain-info/LSD/Barneys_Farm/ 3 of the 5 listed are slow blossoming sativa leaning phenos. Mine always go beyond 70 days. You've got 40 or so to go then. Plenty of time to trich out still.

Thanks man. I was getting a little worried about that one. Was starting to think I was wasting my time with it. Guess I should just be patient and stop comparing it to the other plants in the garden.

Some phenos are better than others. I've got an AK48 in flower and I'm a little disappointed with the resin production. That strain normally frosts over bigtime. Not every seed is going to produce a killer mom worthy pheno. Some strain are more stable (predictable) than others. LSD is apparently not all that stable. Hey, is that from seed or clone? looks like its been topped if not a clone. Topping LSD is not recommended. I LST mine which I highly recommend doing to get more tops. Also, I always have to remove several large fan leaves to let light penetrate the canopy otherwise you end up with lollipops (skinny colas with a big knob on top.) I could talk pot all day... lol

Yes it's from seed and topped once. I just popped one of my 5 seeds and haven't been to impressed so far, but that's growing. Hopefully it comes on strong later

Looking good, she got pretty frosty. I'll try and get some pics up soon.

If it smells nutty ditch it. If it is strong lemon and skunk ass smelling, don't let it go.
