Thanks guys.
The pump was about $250 and it's actually quite loud(like a small chainsaw maybe?),we were thinking about switching to a crank pump.The water source is over 100 yards away.

thanks for your reply...100yards and about how long do you have to run it to fill your rez/trash can?..sorry for all the Q's...

We've never turned it all the way up(it gets louder the faster you pump),but I'm guessing you could do it in under 2 minutes?
And it like a 32 gallon res.
