Basement noisy sounds coming up through vents/cold air returns. Need something to reduce noise

if you can be bothered, just get loads of empty egg trays, the kind that supermarkets get 20 eggs in, ang glue them to the floor around your airline path. it should cut down on the noise comming up through the floor.
musicians use it to cover there walls with to keep noise down from neighbours.

2 layers are better then one and there free from the local market stalls and shops
This reminds me of the movie Hustle & Flow when they were in the studio.

Ok need to determine exactly where the noise is coming from. Put a pillow over the vent in the bedroom. Does it get quieter? You could insulate the basement ceiling under the bedroom and finish it off with Sheetrock, and box in the section of ducting that is going by the grow room and up to the bedroom floor.
