hey balzac, had an idea for your guide based off of my own location I know that growing in the ground can be difficult sometimes(hard, rocky, desert, etc..) and personally I cant get a shovel to my plot, so when I put my ladies out this season I'm going to be keeping them in pots and spray painting the pots desert digital. Donno if other people have thought about incorporating camo patterns like this but I know it will help me out in my situation. cheers. :joint:

EDIT: I didnt read through all six pages of this, but I did read the plot selection, etc, on the first few pages. I don't think it was mentioned in what I read, I donno, just tryna contribute my two cents

EDIT EDIT(lol): forgot to mention that its a good read with good info, great job Balzac, keep up the good work.
Thats always a good idea. I always try to grow my plants big, so pots usually don't work well for that.

Good luck with your grow.

ok im back with a couple more questions first off i followed some one elses on this threads suggestion and bought one of the jiffy greenhouse and put newly germed seeds in there. i was wondering after theyve started sprouting when should i start adding nutes? and what are the best (relatively cheap) and easily accesible nutes i need one for veg and one for flwering i live pretty much in the middle of nowhere so i need something i can get at wal mart r cuntry max (going on a limb that u kno what that is being another new yorker lol

DO NOT add nutes until the plant is 3 weeks old...walmart caries alaskan fish emulsion for about 6 dollars.

ok is that for vegging ? and if so do u have any suggestions for a flowering nute? preferably something i can put in the bottom of my hole like balzac said? tho i kno i might be getting to picky at this pint. thanks for the help man.

Ok, well on top of that question my sprouts have started breaking the surface finally. however, i think i might have put my seeds in upside down, either that or i was never told that the original sprouts are white for the first couple days and am an idiot. either way the help is much appreciated as is any more help with my nutrient question thanks you too all posters

you have a long time to worry about nutes.... no nutes the first 3 weeks... what is your ph of the tap water you water with?.....you should probably start your own thread and more people will respond .....

Ok, well on top of that question i discovered i planted my germed seeds upside down (thought white tendril went up not down) now ive gone through and flipped the ones that had already broken the surface. i was wondering if i should continue to due this or if they will take care of it themselves with gravity. any help with this or my nutrient questions above id appreciate it. thank you to all posters as ive said im a first timer just trying to get down the basics.

If you place stones around the base of the plant it will keep them from digging them up.

I'm trying to get some clones at the momemnt. Regrowing a mother that died last year and was regrowing.

A few seedlings also I'm starting this week.

There not going outside until late MAy early June

Is'nt this weather just awesome balzac. 75 and sunny one day and freezing rain the next. I know somebody who has already put a dozen or so in the ground, and granted they will be "weathered" before mine even go outside, but they have maybe grown 2-3 inches at best.

I am set to run a 9 different variety grow. All is going on a border or state/private land. Wildlife is the largest threat to my plants. Last year I took no casualties and I really did'nt use that much reinforcement. A lot of the plastic -green type chicken fencing, moth balls, irish springs soap, some coyote urine and some human urine.

Bugs were there only issue that had flare ups. Some weeks there would be no bug damage, next week there would be. Neem oil helped a little at first, and then Azamax hooked me up.

The weather is crazy around here. I went fishing the Friday it was nice as hell and then its garbage outside.

Damn man variety is the spice of life lol .

It's way to early to be putting anything out. We got more frosts coming.

Crappy crappy weather here rainy and cloudy days , but I have a horrible light set-up inside. So im going to be putting my seedlings outside, there a week old and in 5l clay pots...you think the cool nights (50 degrees-ish) will harm them?
