Ok so ive seen a few of this exact question...most of which were met by ridicule (but i agree some of them where ridiculous) but please: only constructive criticism here please so heres the story...
Outside shed with no power and no way to get power from the mains there. I only wish to run 2 or 3 200w ish CFLs in there. Now I have been looking at leisure batteries (the type for caravans, vans with T.Vs in the back and yachts etc) and am wondering if anyone on here has used or know enough about them to give me an idea whether this is possible? I considered a generator (sound is not an issue) at first but found it would not be able to run for the whole light cycle...so i then thought maybe get the generator to power the batteries when they run outta juice?? save lugging batteries back and fourth...a solar panel is also not an option...nor is the sun any ideas or pointers would be great. if a few batteries would be required then this could also be arranged!
Now imma go blaze one and also ponder this idea
