DO NOT TOP IN FLOWER it will kill your yeild. Topping should be done in veg ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can use LST without a problem I have been doing for over a year now. Once the plants really start making colas its time to stop. Do us all a favor and don't top!!!!!!!!!

You can top in flower for the first month being that your plants grows taller for the first 4 weeks.I do it and i know alot of people who does it as well.It will not drop yeild alot.

it wont drop it aloy but it will drop it...dont top dude ur plants should have the amount of tops u want when u put into flower...topping cuts off the floral hormones and causes the top u cut to revert into veg while the rest of the plant waits for the top to heal.....unless u want to add weeks to ur total flower time dont do it....remove bottom 1/3 of plant..all the shade leave, branches, and small growth on bottom 1/3 of plant gets cut what this does is it rederict the floral hormones up tp the top of the plant giving u much larger top colas...basically ur taking all the lil popcorn bud that doesnt develop right bcause of lack of light at the bottom and forcing it to grow on top off whats already a good size top cola..giving u a monster cola...all the huge colas u see on here are grown in this manner...try it on one plant if ur not sure..u'll never turn back
 
Ok great for you, your not hurting your yeild ALOT I wouldn't want to hurt my yeild AT ALL. Why not top once you've gotten to the 4th node in veg and therefore have 8 main shoots, then you can lst them into a circular round bush. Lollipop them and bam you have 8 colas. Why the hell would you top in flower??????????

sorry bout the delay...im a bizzy ass bee

but things have been lookin pretty good so far besides some fungus gnats...still tryin to get rid of these little annoying ass bastards

& the tallest is definitely at least 4 and a half feet considering where it stands to me & im 6' even--flatfooted...the reflector is about to hug the top of my closet rail...lol
