Im seriously looking into getting one these for my closet. But let me get this straight, you sat bcnl wants $3,000 for the grow box sensor on top of the producer's price? Also do you have co2 in your producers setup?
That's correct. If you're interested in pricing on anything, just reach out to them. They're pretty friendly folks over there. They sent me a 2012 PDF pricing catalogue with everything they offer.

I'm going to introduce CO2 during the 2nd week of flowering. The hookup and hoses are all ready to go, I just need to pick up a tank.

I just got done talking to them via online chat. Thanks. If I get one I'm definetly going to grow my own mother and go from rooted clone straight to 12/12. Possible Strains maybe la confidential, chronic or granddaddy purple. Something that probably won't over grow the producer. Pretty much a sog.

In 6 days, they are going to enter their stretching period. If I were you, I would think about topping within the next 3-5 days. If you do it now, before they start forming more nodes, you will end up with 4 heads on each plant.

I've enjoyed the seed process so far. Contemplating taking a clone from this grow and keeping a Super Critical mother. I've been reading several threads on the bonsai technique.

Also, I'm contemplating growing some Himalaya Gold next using a custom SCRoG screen.

Thanks for the feedback. I think I'll top them all very shortly.

I decided to go ahead and top all of my ladies late last night. These shots are of just a few minutes ago, so they've had almost 20 hours to heal.

108.jpg 109.jpg 110.jpg 111.jpg 112.jpg 113.jpg

There are 2 plants that are definitely smaller than the rest, but I think in this setup that's quite alright. And there's plenty of time to kick it into gear.

Hope everyone's having a great night! Fall is fast approaching.

Documenting the growth after topping my ladies a few days ago:

I was thinking about how I'd love to acquire a Mothership unit in the near future to house the mothers I'm going to start.

Also, still putting some thought into which strain should go in next. Leaning heavily towards Himalaya Gold.

Looks like watered down red kool-aid. . I would go with a sog strain. You could just get a small tent and house a mom that way instead of buying a pricey mother ship.

Himalaya Gold stood out to me for a lot of the things I'd read about it being awesome for a really creative cerebral high. I'm going to build a custom SCRoG screen soon. (I don't think I'm going to build it for this current grow.) But I think that will really help with any hybrid or sativa strains that end up going in my Producer.

I've contemplated starting a mother in a Secret Jardin DR40 tent that I have. It's more than likely that I'll begin a mother in there before I add a Mothership/Roomate. I just love how slick the BCNL boxes are. Don't get me wrong, I know they're pricey. I know there are more cost effective ways to grow *bigger* plants. It all just boils down to your lifestyle, your goals in growing and personal preference. :)

Dream scenario would be to eventually build my own home and plan cloning/veg/flowering rooms into the build! Haha.

Thanks for stopping by Webbie00. Getting the Roomate over just the Mothership would probably make more sense for what I'm trying to do. Good luck over the next couple of weeks mate!

Things are starting to get very green around here!

Here are the results from topping last week:

128.jpg 129.jpg

We're just about to see some pre-flowers pop up here any day now:

130.jpg 131.jpg 132.jpg 133.jpg

Stems are strong and healthy; so are the roots:

134.jpg 135.jpg

Here's a shot with both 400w HPS bulbs, the 125w CFL & the T5's:

Right on Bongzilla610, nice to meet another fellow BCNL greenhouse user. I look forward to checking out your grow as it unfolds.

Looks like its getting close to flipping them to 12/12. When will you do so?
Actually, Sky Rocket, they've been on a 12/12 light schedule for the last 11 days. They're still doing quite a bit of growing right now. I've witnessed the roots begin to go absolutely nuts in the reservoir over the last few days. I guess we'll see how much stretching this strain plans on doing. Pre-flowers should be visible to the naked eye any day now.

Pretty impressive growth over the last few days. There's just a whole lot more plant matter. Things appear healthy and happy.

This is with the T5's on and the pair of 400w HPS bulbs above powering up:

I have my eyes peeled for any signs of pre-flowering.

142.jpg 143.jpg

A few shots from underneath:

144.jpg 145.jpg

I'm pulling some leaves back to show more clearly where I topped this plant. Two branches have shot straight up that will each contain their own separate bud instead of one single bud that would have grown there without topping.

146.jpg 147.jpg

These plants still have quite a bit of room in this greenhouse and plenty of time to fill it. Planning on draining and refilling the reservoir tomorrow night.

Now, I'd like to share something with you that I've been working on for the last few days.

Introducing: Heisenkush.com - From seed to jar.

I wanted to make a place (other than Roll It Up) that could act as the hub of all my growing experiences. I definitely plan on seeing the journal on here to the end, so I'll be double posting through my harvest, but check it out! I'd love to get any feedback.

They are all looking healthy green. Keep it up. I can still see the runt (middle row from l to r. the second one over, lol). Are you using co2 yet also do you have it set up so when it's time to chop these girls down that you have some cuttings to take there place? Kind of like a perpetual cycle.

The plants have grown quite a bit in the last few days. They seem to be very responsive to everything I'm feeding them by Advanced Nutrients:

With the T5's on:

Closer up:

151.jpg

All in all I'm really pleased with how things look.

I've had fun updating Heisenkush.com over the last few days as well. Check out the reviews page for a really cool movie I watched today by Jorge Cervantes. That guy is definitely a master grower. I think anyone getting into this hobby should take 2 hours out of their day to watch it.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

The Producer is sure filling up with Super Critical goodness!

152.jpg 153.jpg 154.jpg

I noticed pairs of white pistils sticking out of many of the uppermost buds as these plants truly begin their flowering cycle. It's going to be a lot of fun watching the buds grow over the next couple weeks.
