ok so i will start a journal of this next grow. gonna try a few different things this time around. Less nutes for one, and the shorter pheno of my BB/NL cross.

So I will start with the clones. Pic is clones in the aerocloner, and the mothership used to grow moms and make clones. 400W MH.

Note: No nutes, plain PH 6 water with some hydroguard and a few drops of superthrive.

Ok so 12 days after putting in the cuttings we have clones.
These get put in 3" rockwool cubes and placed into the producer to begin Veg. The 3 inch cubes are placed in 3 inch net pots and the veg light(18/6) and flower lights (12/12) are both turned on. Watered 2 times/day for 5 mins a pop.

PPM at this stage is 200. SensiGrow a&B, superthrive and a little voodoo juice.

We have cheap power where I live .06/KWH. so running a producer 12/12 and a mothership 18/6 gets me about $40 extra on the bill.
I rate the producer a solid 8, a few improvements could be made and have, considering mine is last years model.

On the cloner its a manual operation, i found that using rockwool you really only need to water 1xday, so I just blip the switch when i get home and leave it on for a couple minutes. I don't use the neoprene inserts, just 1" RW cubes.

Quick update, just some of the clones here, not a lot of growth up top, but they are putting some good roots down. Next weeks pics should have much better growth showing.

Hmm no neoprene.

Why have I not thought of this!!!

I have an EZ-clone but they go into Rockwool right after so they are only in for about 4-5 days, since they have to be moved when swelling starts, before the roots actually pop out.

- thought the same thing... It's a fucking great idea!

I also have 6 EZ Clone machines, I stopped using them because the neoprenes were a pain in the ass... (Sterilizing them, buying new ones when they wore out) I switched to Rapid Root plugs... And clone domes...

Damn, wish I would've thought of that, you'd only need to blip it to wet the rockwool... But, it is taking away the aeroponics for rooting, might be better?

Yeah you just get the RW wet each day, once you got roots blowin out the bottom thats when I let her go aeroponic. Flip the switch on and in 2 days roots will be 8 inches long, that gets coiled up into the 3" cubes and off into veg we go. This method lets me go from cutting to flowering 1 week earlier than normal due to cutting out some of the veg/clone time. Makes it easier too as you dont have to go dicking around with the neoprene inserts which I found will let mold grow on them when a stem is inserted. Granted the RW cubes can get some algae growth, but something to block the light will cure that.

Well I found out why the very front right most plant hasn't been growing as expected, i took a look at the roots and found that half of them had dried out. lo and behold when I did a water pump test the drip fitting had gotten clogged, cleaned it out and found a small piece of rockwool wadded up in there, now thats fixed lets see if it gets on track.

End of week 4, end of veg. plants are doubling in size every week with 750PPM. Starting flower at 200PPM for a kind of flush and will pump that up each week with res change. Also starting CO2 injection at 1500 PPM. I took Veg bulb out so It can't accidentally be turned on. Will use AN SensiBloom A&B, AN Big Bud, AN Vitaboost Pro, AN Carboload, AN VooDoo juice.

In 2 weeks I will be doing some pruning, plants will lose a bunch of foliage then also. More weekly updates to come!!!

Update end of week 5, 1 week of flowering done. Using 350 PPM here, plants again have nearly doubled in size. Tomorrow I will be pruning off about the lower half of the plants stems. If they don't stop growing so fast I may have to resort to a screen to keep them from touching the hot part of the glass, we shall see.
