Be careful making homemade CalMag supplement

That's really weird. Acetic acid in vinegar is so weak at 5% it would take a lot to kill the plants. Did you give them anything else with that feeding?

I did the eggshell thing too but with concentrated nitric acid and never saw a problem but finally broke the piggy bank and went and blew $16 for a litre of real calmag. Lasted so long it went bad before I used it up but I don't use a lot of it even with RO water. Never used it at all until 7 or 8 years ago but never saw problems in the 12 years before that and personally think it's vastly overrated with most problems caused by shitty water and pH issues.

Just like stress causing hermies. If that's what caused hermies all my plants would be hermies. It's the genes that are bad and stress causes those to hermie.
