I knew someone from Calgary that always talked about pizza pops. I was generally curious, but through her description, they just sorta sounded like hot pockets. She SWORE up and down that they were different than Hot Pockets. Would argue till blue in the face about it...

Then she moved to the states, and she said, “yeah, they’re sorta like hot pockets”

the crust on hot pockets is better. The thing about pizza pops is the price. You can get a dozen for $6. I ate a lot of those and macaroni and cheese when I was in school
