OK I live in Mass..here's the truth.
Prohibition sucks and cannabis must be legalized..an honor student was shot in the head over 1/4lb by a stupid drop out..all cuz of prohibition making a silly weed worth gold..idiotic...this occurred in a rich suburb of Boston. I am very glad to see the mostly mature responses here...good group of smart dudes here.
1. Mass has decrim law, it's only 100 bucks for ounce or less...we voted it in, like 70% in favor in the state. We also just saved the whole country from an corrupt one sided party whoredown called health stimulus...i digress. The guy in the passenger seat should of just said yea, i got less than a z, and i'm toking..but I ain't driving..he might of walked away with a $100 fine and they really can't force you to pay it.
2. I saw the local tv interviews of family, plus prior pics, etc...The guy wasn't that intelligent...not good to tell by looks, but what I saw, i wouldn't want him or his wife watching my cat.
3. Cops used excessive force, probably, but as many say here, they protect my house, my grow and my children...they enforce the laws the corrupt politicians we and our parents voted in to office...so don't blame it on the cops (i know some corrupt..blah blah, there is evil everywhere, more so in our politicians than cops.)
so don't chalk this up to death by marijuana..
4. My guess it was death by alcohol...he was probably drunk and we know how bad that drug is..
it's death by stupidity and probably alcohol or a underlying heart condition or something..as I totally believe he resisted and they killed him...most likely absolutely NOTHING to do with POT...alcohol is another story.
Cops here mostly use POT arrests to get you for something else...as most cops do across the country. But I know 80% of all convictions are for pot, so we have to end prohibition. This doesn't compare to the grandma who died when they busted in on the wrong house, or the real people persecuted for just pot, they are the real victims we must fight for. This is NOT the poster child for our cause...by any stretch. I live in this state, been smoking for 20plus years, in car, in work, in the Boston Garden bathroom stalls at bruin's game, and got caught there smoking with joint in hand in stall, and the cops they me let me go!!! I treated the with respect when they caught me ...listen to the wise folks here...respect police...without them, we have chaos. VOTE, did you hear Obama's online youtube questions, number one submitted topic by far was legalization/marijuana and he didn't even address it on youtube....he is lame..he just wants to look good...for his party..he has NO BALLS...he is NO PATRIOT...a true patriot would lead this country to end the prohibition..but too risky for his political career/party....he's a shell of a leader...a noob rookie over his head...surrounded by freaking crazy rich people (democratic senators) who want to tax everyone.. Paul Brown looks good now, but will probably end up the same for republicans...we need true American Patriots as our leaders....God help us ....and thank God for cannabis
