Skunk, think I should 'mist' the clone?

Hmmmm thinking of firing up the streaming server. Haven't got the bandwidth bill from last time, so I'm a bit scared. We ate up like 20Gb.

Yes... i always do it. Have you got a humidity dome of some description?
When I first did clones I used a cookware dish with a layer of cling film over the top. You need to change the cling film at least once every 2 days.
Clones need a humid environment as this keeps them from transpiring and they can concentrate on growing roots.
I did it in soil too... just used what i could find then stuck cling-film over the top.
I usually only mist once a day. Honestly, when I do it I can almost hear their sighs of relief. I swear.

I've just got it sitting on top of a book case, normal room light and temperature.

It's also normal for clones to wilt in the first couple of hours, but they usually stand right up again. I've found that the more light you give them, the quicker they take root. I found 3 ft away from a 400w mh to be a good distance. Light=Energy...
You'll also want to keep the medium (soil) fairly moist. It's also good to give them 10 minutes airing once a day. I usually do this before I mist, and it's a good chance to look at them all, check the weight etc. Plus, it helps you show that you care.
Give the clones a lot of space and they will transpire quicker, it's a good idea to get as many clones in as you can without them touching each other. Also a good idea to snip off heavy leaves. If they're low down remove them completely, if higher up just snip them off a little at the fingers. If it looks too heavy snip it. This will also help the plant take root quicker, as a clone doesn't need much leaf to take in available light, and it has less body to support while it concentrates on the rooting process.
Also, upward growth is not always a sign of the clone having taken root, and this may be difficult to determin in soil. I'd give them at least 14 days before considering veg'.

Yes, that looks fine... just trim some of the heavier leaves. It only hurts for a moment.
Also the more light you give it, the quicker it will root. So long as you keep things sweet with the environment the clone will live happily for ages without gaining root if not enough light is provided.

Thanks for the info, gonna place this on the window ledge and wait for the sun to come up and create a little atmosphere, before I snip the sun leaf off.
I've already misted it, probably a bit too much, if that is possible.
After sun leaf removal and a good breath of air, I think that I'll put it close to the veg area when it can get a bunch of light and the temp is 70°F / 28°C

The cloning discussion is rather timely as I believe I will be doing my clones tonight...I have also read that you sould "score" the stem to "create" more root development locations? this makes biological sense....but idk.....I have not seen it mentioned here?

I am so blown awway with my current work it baffles me totally....professionally and personally. it is such a sweet place to be compared to the last years of toil and struggle. I'll be real interested in your success with the cloning....I am thinking of taking 3-4 from my Top44 girlie girl...

Yes I score too. Not sure if this helps, I've had clones root just as quick without scoring, i'm sure.
