damn i was commenting on these earlier because knowm put up a link. damn grandfather going all yuppie on us. just kidding dude, that thing is awesome. i would love that thing. i was saying how i would have to get a cdl as a front. they even custom paint logos for realism. i guess you know about all the details already seeing as you got one.Okay, gonna let you in on sumthin. Actually they are made to order - less power & water. Honest truth.
My neighbors would spin out if I put an empty shipping container on the property and then started making it a grow box.

and who the hell are we kidding, in the dessert that box completely lined with solar panels isnt going to turn on one of those bulbs. so wind, and once again, youd need a stadium of propellers for that box, and then hydro, dont know anything on what that produces but from what ive read wind and solar dont do big grows. any input on hydro as being feasible for 10,000 watts
how can an everage guy plug that in and not go to jail? and the first answer is gas generator. is there any other way though?

15kw solar arrays are not unusual out here. 7kw are real common. Watts divided by volts equals amps. 8,000w / 120 = 66.
Also, there are areas, probably 70% of mine, where people generate their own power, have either a well or if they are lucky, a fresh water spring, have no telephone _ except cellular when you are in range of a tower and described where they live by how many miles off of the paved road they are located or how many creeks you have to cross.
You probably live in the city _ which is kewl _ but where I'm at. Shit, there are not 4 cars a month _ other than my 3 neighbors _ that come down my street. On the other hand, if I go outside right now. I'll see a bear within 10 minutes maybe sooner.

Gas generators are viable here, and bunches of people use them. My issue is the fuel. Everyone I know who uses a gas generator pretty much uses at least 5 gals of gas a day and that is using the generator not a lot.
Batteries are the real issue. Even tho I get _ statistically speaking _ 330 days a year of sunshine, with solar you do need a 'fall back' plan. Either AC generator or batteries. I won't bore you with the dissertation on each but I prefer DC over AC

Tahoe & YGF, I wanted to get your feelings on this.
I read recently that once the female plant begins to produce seeds, she devotes all energy and resources to that task. When a plant never produces seeds, she devotes all enery and resources to producing buds and THC. Which in turn should produce stronger weed?
Just something I read and wanted to get your thoughts.
I know that when I can afford some 'kind bud' it usually has minimal seeds whereas the 'dirt and swag' I normally afford is sometimes, not always, loaded with seeds, and I know from my experience which was better.

Found 2 males trying to play in the patch with the girls.
The end came quick for the males
When I did the autopsy on the plants, one of them was quite interesting.
The main tap root had literally tied itself into a knot and then decided to continue it's travels to the bottom of the pot.
These plants had only Fox Farm Ocean Forrest as the medium plus micorrhizae. The resultant root system was very impressive. The roots had taken over the entire medium. It was little root hairs all over.
I got the darker image by placing my hand over the strobe flash.

Actually not all micorrhizae is the same. A company named "Plant Health Care" has the scientist on staff who is the genius. They have engineered their own strain. Very Uber

IMHO, if you _ relative speaking _ do a grow and don't add enzymes it is kinda like growing and not using nutes. Doesn't compute.
