Been flowering since feb 24th

Hey everyone...I am growing some Lemon skunk from dna genetics and once again I find conflicting stories on "when it's done"
I am under a 400 watt hps...vegged under a 400 watt mh....
breeder recommends 50 -56 days for "sweetest harvest" my pistils are still white with reds and oranges...I have a amber or amberish trich on every bud leaf tested....but my pistils are supposed to recede back into the bud so I'm going to ask your opinion...
What signs tell you your plant is done...keep in mind this is my first grow...and value your opinion thanks for taking the time

it depends what kinda smoke you want the darker the trich,s the more couch lock it will be id wait till its got about 25% - 30% amber trichs an then cut that bitch
