Tried a new to me IPA from an outfit out of Redmond Washington. It's ok but I probably won't be buying it again. There's just so many beers available that I really like that just ok isn't good enough. I do like trying something I've never had before to make sure I'm not missing out on a real gem. It would be nice if you could mix and match a six pack but most stores don't let you do that.

ALCOHOL: 6.9% ABV
BITTERNESS: 68 IBU
MALTS: 2-Row Barley, Munich, Crystal
HOPS: Chinook, Magnum, Simcoe, Amarillo, Cascade

There's gotta be some good liquor stores around you. Most of our decent liquor stores have a mix and match 6 pack here, but I'm also in CO so there's a lot more liquor stores since you had to go to one if you wanted anything over 3.2%,

I like beer but my tastes aren't fancy.
Been liking Modelo recently.

I hope all y'all IPA enthusiasts don't yell at me lol.
You should drink what you like. IPA's are not for everyone. I've been drinking them since the 80's when the microbrew scene got going here in Portland Oregon and they're basically all I drink. Most everything else just seems lacking to me after decades of drinking hoppy beers.

There are plenty of choices for everyone. Modelo is a respectable beer. Now if you had mentioned Busch Lite it would be a different story.

Sharing a few tasters last night at Ma's with my oldest bro, to go with Pinto beans and farmers sausage.

This IPA was clean/refreshing with a salivating finish. Best one of the night.

This session IPA wasn't nearly as tasty as the Brut above.

For dessert there was a mint chocolate milk stout and a peanut butter chocolate stout - both unique and satisfying.

never heard of an old ale style before. it's tasty. but packs a punch: 8.3% already feeling all warm and tingly after half of one. lol
That’s a trip. This is what I picked up tonight . In the store I saw the beer we talked about before and thought about you. It’s good to see you and now that I am in Colorado I can get those beers you always drink but seriously, I had NO idea you were drinking Avery tonight. I was looking around for a low carb IPA and this looked like a good choice. It’s not bad, watered down but has a clean ipa bite.
