Beer Me! Kids?

Well, not for nothing but last time I checked pot was illegal. Telling your kids its ok to smoke pot is just plain stupid. Period. We as adults realize it's illegal and the consequences of getting caught. Now, I understand that kids will be kids and they will do it if they want no matter what you say, but you shouldn't push the envelope. We like it well, because we're stoners. But you should never, EVER, subject your kids to it as a parent. It's called child endangerment, and it's a felony. Besides, imho, it makes you a scumbag as well. Personally, teaching your 2 year old to fetch you beers, even though they are just beers, is pretty stupid as well. I hate to down your post guy but I for one wouldn't be proud of this. It kind of sickens me really, as a parent of 2 boys. I couldn't fathom doing half the things you guys talk about here. It's called responsibility, look it up.

who! calm down mr self righteous! no one said there smoking weed with kids, on the last page we mighta joked around some but were not talkin about getting kids into drugs. its just this guy tought his son to get daddy a beer and smokes a little herb. no reason to bring up child endangerment

Alright, maybe I was out of line a little, but wtf? I guess I see things in a different light than the rest of you. I would never tell my kids it's ok to smoke weed, and that's exactly what a few people here have said. Not the OP, but a few others. Again, we're responsible adults (well, most of us anyway) and realize what we're doing. Kids are not wired that way. They do what they want when they want as say fuck the consequences. Would it change your mind a bit when he called you from county asking for bail, knowing you told him it was ok to smoke weed? Let em grow up and figure it out for themselves. Tell them to stay away from hard drugs because they'll hurt you. Shit man, I dunno, I smoke and drink but never in my life would I condone it with my kids. But eventually, it could be inevitable.

I know a lot of kids that were raised by some hippy ass, granola eating, weed smoking parents. They watched their parents smoke weed since before they could walk. It seems to be they are able to step out of the socially induced hysteria about drugs and realize its not a evil or something to be ashamed of.

by introducing them to weed, and showing them that don't need those other harmful drugs, is a good preventative measure to ensure ur kids won't get into drugs, just herb.

i agree wholeheartedly. but they ask young kids about drugs in the home because they know that young kids are more likely to provide them with the information they want. how can you educate your children on drugs or anything else for that matter when theyre in the foster system?

we dont live in that world yet.
