Hello rollitup. About a month ago I was posting some questions about my grow room and got a great amount of help! Ive decided to start a grow journal to help anyone I can, and to keep things tracked easier :D.

Specs:

  • 2x3x6.5 ft grow box
  • 1000w HPS cooltube with reflector
  • 170 CFM 4" inline fan
  • 4" carbon filter
  • 6" homedepot duct intake fan
  • Custom A/C unit attached to intake fan for cooler air.
  • 6" circulating fan
  • 6 AK-47 clones
  • Ocean Forest soil
  • Foxfarm Grow Big, Big Bloom, and Tiger Bloom
  • 3 gallon containers
Day 1:
Today I got the clones and transfered them into the bigger pots. First day in the new box (Clones were about 3 weeks old when I got them. Currently using the 1000w HPS on them. (Ran out of money to buy a different spectrum light for vegging. Shouldn't be a problem for this grow, switching to flower in a week or so)

Day 6:
Babies are doing much better adapting to the new home. Started feeding them Grow Big and they love it! Temps are getting a little warm so I plan to build an a/c unit to attach to the intake fan. (Copper tubing pumping ice water through it and over the fan)

Day 8:
Corner ak's are taking off, the 2 in the middle are just finding the right spot and are doing better. Last few days of vegging.

Day 10:
Switched them to 12/12 flowering cycle today. Tomorrow I will begin to give them the Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom, they will explode!

Day 12
:
Much more growth into the flower stage. Babies are loving the nutrients and light, cant wait to see some flowers popping up.

Day 14:
Gave them water with nutrients yesterday. A lot of growth in the night cycle, spots for flower are starting to shoot up!

sweet I'm 'scribed hows your small box doing on temps I know you said you had heat probs. but how much?? BTW the idea of copper pipe and ice water is genius I use a similar method for a cooling fan at work just get and Igloo or similar cooler... fill it with ice and water.... put in a pump attached to copper..... run copper to fan and presto. I've modified mine a little over the years but all in all its simple and effective. Good luck to you!!:bigjoint:

Day 24: (Yesterday)
Back left plant got a case of the spider mites. I lowered temps in the grow room to 60-65 to slow the speed of the mites reproducing. Putting lady bugs in there tonight.

Total yield = 6oz. Not bad for a small ass space. Gonna try starting up some white rhino x2 and grape ape x2 in the next couple of days.
