Fdd, so cutting and trimming the lower 3rd isn't an issue, right? I have people telling me to just cut everything off that is below the canopy. There are a lot of scraggly looking stems and leaves that will obviously not produce any viable buds (the plant only has a few weeks left of 12/12. I've been told to just trim those that arn't reaching the light off, or that are dried and curling on the edges.

On saturday I am starting an experiment !
12- vegging under 430w hps
&
12- vegging under 1000w hps

Both will be flowering under a 1000w hps, I am curious to see the difference between the 2 lamps for the veg cycle.

It's obvious for flowering there's a big difference but for vegging I'm not sure so I thought I'd try it out !

Lol..that's exactly what mine looks like after a trimming... that must've taken you a lot of time lol... my one plant takes me a good half hour man.
