Gorilla Glue and GSC are my favorite. You grow all year around? I grow from Labor Day weekend until October :weed:
Not all year any more.. Summers get too hot and humid. Even with dehumidifier cant get RH under 75. Spider mites, PM, bud rot. From now on i skip july, aug, sept. Ive been wanting to try GSC. The GG is wicked strong but this strain has weak terps.

First time grower here as well. Started off with 4 seeds from a dispensary 8th of Texas butter (Banana og X Stardawg). Although I was unhappy with the 8th I picked up that day bc when you buy "premium" flower in a legal state that comes with seeds you're a little disappointed especially for the price point. This however shows that there's always light at the end of the tunnel. I said fuck it and planted all 4 around Sept 10th. I'm now in about the 4th week of flower and I couldnt be happier. Growing in a green agriculture tent 2x2x4' using 2 bloomspect sl600w lights (85w from wall per light) dyna gro grow nute for veg and bloom nute for flower. I was giving cal mag early on but dropped it shortly after I started using it. Growing in coco coir perlite mix 80/20. Started all 4 seeds out not knowing if they were photos or autos, male or fem. I did end up with one male that I had to toss but I saved a cut so I can pollinate some lower buds. 2 of the 4 didn't make it. My big girl and the smallest one that's had issues from the door made it and I feel like I may get a decent bit of bud off this run. A little more than a cut I've had a lot of help from some really solid growers on here getting my pH and ppm dialed in and things have been going great. To every new grower. If you have doubts, keep going. Ask questins and don't be afraid to try techniques to help boost yield. Super cropping was real intimidating at first but it really holds promising results.

Dude, the best weed I've grown was a dispensary bag seed(kush/haze cross) that a friend gave me a nug of. Those bloomspect lights are good lights for the $. My 2 sl1000's have given me 6 grows now. $100 for 2. Same as mars hydro ts600s. Im ready for a bar style light soon as tax return time. Youre right about keeping going and trying stuff. I have learned so much over the last 18 months. Most important thing is just grow. Sometimes you have to start over or harvest early but you arent learning if you arent growing. Your grow is looking good keep us updated.

Thanks for the kind words brother. I've definitely had some ups and downs during the grow but going through those ups and downs taught me a lot about what and what not to do. I've heard so many people that say they've started grows but gave up before flower bc of some issue presenting itself and folks not realizing how resilient weeds are bc weed plants are exactly that, weeds. They're so hard to kill you almost have to try to kill them and almost anyone who tries, with a little research and some solid guidance, can make it from see to harvest. I started with almost zero knowledge and absolutely no tent. I had a blurple light and those 4 seeds which I decided one day impulsively to germinate. The bloomspects definitely aren't bad for the money but a bar style light is a solid investment. I'm curious about other nutes as well. I'm using these salt based nutes but you run the risk of scorching your roots if there's salt buildup for whatever reason. Im using coco coir which I've found is a good starter medium for those of us that are overzealous at watering our plants bc coco doesn't retain water like soil so I feel like is more forgiving and you don't really have to worry about suffocating your plants from overwatering. I've heard good things about dry amendments. Ill definitely keep posting throughout my grow. I'm interested to see the yield. I'm also interested in how much longer I have on these. I've heard 4 weeks and I've heard 8. To me these buds seem to grow a little bit every single day and night. I've also seen a lot of folks say their ppms are about 1200. Even 1,000 I would think is too much on a 500 scale. My runoff usually measures about 535 and I can only imagine how much some of these folks are feeding their plants but some of them have zero issues and these plants look great for having such high ppm. This is something i don't fully understand yet. But at least for my grow keeping it around 500-650 seems to suffice and towards the end I'll back off before I flush. Sorry for the rant, I've definitely learned a lot over the past 3 months and I can't wait to learn more my next grow! Also I've heard good things about those mars hydro lights I just was iffy bc of the price point when I saw those bloomspects for 45 a piece with solid reviews.

I dont know how much longer you got.lol. I do know that I like about 20% amber trichs. Whatever your preference i would wait till you see it. You can get a jewelers loupe for $10 on Amazon. Or just do like we all did before and wait till all the hairs turn red and the calyx's are full. As far as nutes , im going Ph Perfect next grow. This Fox Farm shit is too strong. I only get to use the bloom with these autos cause the FFOF i use carries it all the way through the stretch by itself. Molasses have helped me. Not sure if it would help in coco unless youre using a mychorrizal inoculant. Im into the organic method. It took a few grows to get my shit straight but i love the low maintenance and ph tolerance. Some people have the lights,co2,environment to get away with all those PPMs. For the fractional amount of quality increase its not worth the effort to me. Mars gets their performance on the qb lights from wattage and reflectors. Their "1000" runs 150w vs the bloomspect at 100w. I know MH has better lights, but those bloomspects were cheaper than 1 TS1000 with twice the coverage. Amazon is starting to have some decent bar lights for $250ish for 400w. Thats all the light id need for my space. Use the bloomspects for sidelight in flower. I swear they told me id always wish i had more light. Its true.

Almost a year later and i have a 400w bar light. Samsung 281b+ diodes. $159. lol, last year that wasnt possible but lights are getting cheaper and cheaper. Im running 6 autos under it and since midflower ive been using 1 of the Bloomspects for sidelight. Im all dry amendment and "natural" nutes now except a touch of calmag. My plants are bigger and better. It seems like firever since last year and its been 4 harvests. Ive beaten bad genetics, spider mites nute burn and powdery mildew since last post. I still say its the best hobby ever and that anybody that likes smoking weed hasnt had true weed pleasure till they smoke kindbud that they grew themselves. Even when you fail you learn something. I cant believe how far things have come in just a short time. Im growing Autos that are better than about anything ive ever had. Fantastic breeders are easier to reach than ever.
